After blowing the lid off a real life example of FFT architecture (http://forums.eyesonff.com/final-fantasy-tactics/117096-life-imitating-art.html), I have yet again stumbled onto what looks like a real life example of something that I thought only existed in a video game. In this case: the Dragon Warrior series.
While strolling through the Higgins Armory, which has a replica medieval great hall inside an incongruous-looking modern building that displays suits of armor, I found a Japanese artifact on display.
