Oh yes, I can tell. Those ceiling lights are Kanagashima Concern 1979 Special Model 'Lux'. I can't entirely tell from this angle but I would guess they were installed in 1983 by Aoyami Installation Holding Entity, though it could be either an '84 for job by the same, or something 1984-through-'86 by... hmmm, I want to say Kondo Lighting Expert Group but it might conceivably be Kaneko Luminscent Shipping and Fishing Corporation (though if it is the latter, it means you're more likely to be in Futtsu, Chiba, as KLSFC only began operations in 1982 and they didn't really expand beyond Chiba Prefecture until the late 80s.) The most likely result of the evidence is that it's somewhere in Tokyo, though as I said, there's a small chance it's elsewhere.

If they were real geeks they'd freak out about that 1999 'Sherlock' Fire Alarm. What's special about that? Well, there were a total of 14 production runs throughout the year, and on the 11th run one of the assembly lines had a minor error in it, resulting in a completely unique design for the clasping mechanism. Nothing really unusual about that, except that the error still actually functions perfectly, which meant they could go to the stores and making the 160 items so affected highly valuable collectors items. I using my amazing powers of being a man will confirm you do briefly get a glimpse of Rye bra strap there. If it was a shadow it'd be lighter also, theres visible skin to the left of that, thus no shadow would be able to hide the skin completely, not to mention the line is too clear to be shadow of either cardigan or tank top.

It's just a really thick fringe that I sweep to the side, or bangs, basically :p but it probably does help to have thick hair, although you could just cut more hair into bangs to make it thicker!
