Have you ever tried experimenting with the way you walk up and down the stairs? I have...I have small legs and find it hard to do 2 at a time though :(

Let me in on your stair capers :D

I sprint up stairs using high knees for that little bit of extra training. Sometimes I skip as many as possible, although that's dangerous. I've had a few faceplants and injuries from stairs :D

Skipping steps on the way up is alright, but on the way down is a nono.

There's more than one way of walking up stairs?

Well, you could try falling upstairs.

I usually undress in the middle and crawl the last bit.

I float up them.

I don't walk down stairs, I dive headfirst down them.

Two steps at a time. Plus my right foot should always touch the last step.

it's hard to do my dorm stairs two at a time in flipflops, so I haven't skipped those too many, however in my dorm last year (wearing tennis shoes) I could go from seventh floor to the ground in thirty seconds on stairs.

Either two at the time, or one but running.

I usually skip two or three steps at a time or, on rare occasion, walk up them without skipping any. I have walked up stairs backwards, sideways, and on all fours. I am currently working on a method to walk up the stairs using nothing but my hands.

I only did that with small stairs in like... highschool. I was like the only person who did it too and one of my acquaintances used to mock me for it. Said I should start screaming while running up the stairs. I wasn't running :( That would have been funny though. Everyone was scared of me anyway <3

Two at a time coming downstairs is easier if you do it at an angle. Maybe two stairs with the outside foot, one stair with the inside. I'm not sure but I think that's how I did it back then

Due to my leg length and foot size stairs can be a problem for me. I often have to take stairs two at a time and sort of sideways, because if I stand straight on half my foot lies off the side of the step and I lose my balance.

Despite repeated attempts, I cannot walk down two steps at a time. I'm pretty fast on stairs... for someone who weighs sixteen stone anyway :p

Stairs are my nemesis. :-/ I like my bedroom on the first floor at my mom's.

I've fallen down stairs so many times. One time i tumbled and somehow by trying to catch myself I ended up doing a cartwheel.

Well, you could jump down the last two if you're going to land on the ground or a break in the case.

My Dad like crawls up the stairs on his hands, it's actually scary when it's 3am and he just APPEARS.

I'm so slow, I'm all petite so I take one step at a time and tall people stride passed me taking two - even three - steps at a time whilst I'm going as fast as my little legs will let me :(

I've fallen up stairs before. I was running up and slipped and made it to the top on my ass. My advance comp teacher was there watched the whole thing. I was the topic of descution the next day :D

It's stressful at work, our stock room is like 60 stairs upstairs and all our PC stuff is up there so I tend to go up and down them on average 15-20 times a day D= my little legs can't take it!!

Usually one at a time, but if I feel like challenging myself, I can almost make 4.

At the library, I saw a rather overweight woman emerge from the elevator and thought to myself 'man, stairs are so liberating'.

I had similar thoughts when going to lunch with a friend who is substantially pudgier than she was a year ago who not-too-subtly pleaded for us to not take the stairs.
