What if Auron was in the game? What would he be able to do? Doubt he'd be better than Balthier, but....

who is balthier? plz specify beetween fft and ffta. auron would make a sweet knight (not as sweet as ramza of course). i think someone like him could make the ending battle cake (orlandu and ramza = only decent competition with altima)

Cloud isn't from Ivalice either, but he's in FFT.

That... is a really good point. I completely forgot about that. So no cameos in Ivalice games mean anything apparently, they're just 100% fan-service. I... should have known.

And btw, Balthier is from XII, he's a hidden character in War of the Lions, like Luso from TA2. Auron would probably be one of the last people I'd like to see in a cross-over. He's cool, but again, pure fan-service. I'd also like to see a hidden character with magic-based stats and abilities, rather than strength.

Yes, as a playable character. Some of his limits are nice but he's stuck with a specific weapon to use them. Aeris also gets a cameo.

XD i saw aeris, but dont know what you guys are talking about in that thread for cloud. oh well. i thought tactics should come first.

Bah! The original was the best. I want the remake terribly, but alas I have no PSP and I don't intend to buy one just for the game. As far as Auron being in game, I'd frown upon it. Cloud was pushing it and Balthier is just silly, did they have him replace Mustaido? I've not played the remake yet. Cameos are silly and should be kept to a minimum. If Auron were in the game, I'd probably get him just for completion purposes and never use him.

Good point, there were a lot of original characters in the game that weren't playable that should have been, for whatever reason, Zalbag for example.

did they final make that dark knight guy a playable character? I think just having somebody else with those Hp absorb and mp absorb attacks would be cool. There use to be this rumor that you could get him in the original but I think it was just indeed a "rumor".

fft remake = slow loading ass + random characters that don't belong in the games universe(then again, the game has plenty of that..).

he would be an ass character, that cloud would kill in one hit for no reason.
