Is the PSP region locked?

I have no idea if this goes here or the tech question forum place. But can import games for the PSP and not have do anything to it like the DS? I don't know if it makes any difference or not, but I have the red God of War PSP and a fat black original PSP, but it's cracked and the analog sticks.

Nope, the PSP is not region locked. That seems to be where Sony is going with their consoles from now on which is great.

nope, actualy, i've been messing around with the Japanese demo for Phantasy Star Portable on my U.S. PSP, gawd i hope it comes to the U.S. ...

It is impossible for it to be locked to a certain region, because there are no regions in the PSP world :p.
