My night seeing Carlos Mencia

Although complications from FedEx about getting our tickets, the night was awesome. When we arrived, me and my room mate Jac had about 20 minutes until the Tennessee Theather opened the doors, so we went for a little walk. We got around back and at the back entrance behind the theather, we saw what we believe was Carlos' tour bus.

Once inside, we got to meet Brad (no its not Weeman! lol).

Little did I know what was up for store. As we walked toward our seats, we passed Carlos and he was surrounded by two guards. I could have reached out and touched him, thats how close he was to me. So, I screamed " Yea Carlos!" and so did the others after I did.
So, we quickly turned around, and went back down to meet him. I got my pic taken with him and he autographed all my stuff. Well, we left there and took our seats.

Great opening acts and the show was hilarious. Well, if anyone has seen a Mencia show, you know he does a lot of interaction with the fans. Well, all night he never said his "Dee Dee Dee", so toward the end when he was messing with the crowd I yelled out to him to say it. Then he turned pointed at me and in a playing, joking voice, he goes, " Hey, shut the smurf up. I got enough assholes to deal with when I get back on the bus." It was so cool. But the night ended and now I'm back in my room at school just remembering the awesome night.

Ha, glad you had fun. Kinda cool you gotta meet him in person and such. Seems like he was pretty friendly and alright all around. I wonder if his publicist will not allow him to say 'dee dee dee' anymore, or what. Which would be funny, considering it IS Mencia we are talking about.

I love how the kid's just trying to share a good night he had with you all and the best response you can come up with is to point out how much the act he enjoyed sucks. You people are just the worst.

Carlos is quite short. But I'm 6 foot 2 inches so he isn't too short. My roommate is 6 foot 7 and when he walked up to Carlos, he went "oh crap. Come on and make me feel short man." He is good to his fans though and thats something I really like about him. Not too many people will come out before the show, jsut to take pics and sign autographs and meet some people.
