;_;

I have 3 CD purchases worth that I want to use on the go, but cannot because Samsung can't play those bizarre protected file dealies.

I can't seem to convert them to anything.

So my question is... What is a safe, free and somewhat effortless way to convert M4P to M4A/MP3? even if it's Wave, just to remove that protection so I can convert it to MP3.

Protected Music Converter (http://www.m4p-mp3.com/) looks to be just what you need.

Thank god iTunes is only for iPod suckers. Burn the music to a CD then rip the CD in another program.

xD... refer to the last help thread I made for the reason I can't burn to CDs :p...

I really don't wanna send my Computer away.

ps: as for that program, I tried it the other day, it's not free :[...

Just download the CDs you bought in MP3 format.

This. It's not like you haven't paid for the songs already.

I didn't think anyone actually wanted to use iTunes without an iPod. Even with an iPod I'd rather use Winamp.

While were talking about this, can I use iTunes on one computer, and Winamp on the other to sync an iPod? Or will iTunes try and delete everything on it?

connect your ipod, check the 'manually manage ipod' box and uncheck anything that even hints at itunes doing it for itself. You should be good!

Should only take you 6-12 weeks to disable all those erroneous tickboxes.

Yeah there's like one or two of them. :rolleyes2

I like iTunes, except for foobar2000 it's my player of choice. Its slowness is basically the only thing that gets me about it.
