xD

It's like... weeeeh! amazing :3

The songs with Shawn McPherson speaking in them totally made it for me. Though I do adore the different harpishchord in The Deadly Viper!

There was actually quite alot of music in this game that impressed me! I found that alot of the music suited the enviroments really well (Church for example)!

Oh god, the music in the DMC games is god awful. The battle track in DMC4 is possibly the worst piece of music put together in any form of media ever.

Wow ouch... all of it?

That's a shame, I feel sorry for your taste in music.

That one particular battle track feels like it was taken from an awful reject Japanese rock group.

I feel sorry for your taste in music.

all in all though?

You have orchestral, piano-strung, industrial etc (Surely at least one of these wasn't "God Awful", that's why I said I feel sorry for your taste in music :p).

Just saying :3

Chamy.Ishi is a very interesting composer too, YouTube - Devil May Cry 4: The Voluptuous Gloria (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47BViN6TjDY&feature=related&fmt=18) The normal person might not take fancy to it... but there's a certain something within the secondary-percussion that just inspires me about this seemingly simple composition.

YouTube - Devil May Cry 4 - Stage 1 (Special OST) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUtQwwC7IK8&fmt=18) from Shusaku Uchiyama has a real atmosphere half-to-mid-song (and though the place you hear it is short, certainly is there).

Another example is some of Rei Kondoh's work within the game:
YouTube - Devil May Cry 4: The Voluptuous Gloria (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47BViN6TjDY&feature=related&fmt=18) lots of neat little Harpishchord samples used throughout.

Finally... changing genre entirely there's that re-arrange/mix of Out of the Darkness YouTube - Devil May Cry 4- The Idol of Time and Space (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpBPasXnrsY&fmt=18)

Perhaps it's just because I wh0re out video game music to much per-song... but I definetly think calling every last single DMC song god awful is just without study.
