A'yo, don't y'all hate it when you can be searching for people to have on your friends list on Social Sites like Myspace (God Forbid) only to find that the person is actually some account made to get you to sign up for some porn site using personal information like a Credit Card or Debit Card. That :skull::skull::skull::skull: is VERY smurfing stupid and annoying as hell. Seriously...

Don't tell anyone, but that's what my account here is for.

My boobs are so big, they have their own accounts.

I find it most irritating when they actually friend you for that purpose.

I don't usually look for people on social networking sites, I meet them on sites like eoff or LJ or (omg) IRL and then add them.

In college, people add you on facebook if you've ever had a one word conversation with them. Somehow, this creepy stoner kid that we call Stoner Andrew got my phone number and my facebook info, and keeps trying to get me to smoke with him. :p

This is why I hate social networking sites, among a myriad of other reasons. I deleted my bebo months ago, and I've never had anything else. It's like "HAY I'M A FRIEND OF A FRIEND OF A FRIEND OF A FRIEND LOL I THINK I SAW YOU ONCE MAYBE OR MAYBE IT WAS JUST A PAPER BAG OR SOMETHING IDK BUT WANNA BE FRIENDS ????????////////????????" and you just think "Honestly? No." but you can't say that, and all my friends have like about 500 "friends" it's ridiculous.

They are fine, of they are not abused. The introvertedness of the net meeting the extroversiveness of society never leads to anything good.

EoFF is a prime example of this.

Social networking sites suck.

You must take time to determine whether or not a female solicitor is, indeed, the real deal.

Social Networking sites only suck if you let them suck.

I've had a facebook for 4 years, and I friend people that I'm actually friends with. If we were friends, and we don't talk anymore, you're not my friend anymore.... imagine that. 4 years, and I have 61 friends... on top of that only my friends can see my profile.

No, they add you even if they've never spoken to you.

That reminds me, a friend of a friend of mine got her account deleted on facebook because she had too many internet friends and not enough IRL friends.

Or you could be like me, and actually say "Honestly? No.", and have 13 friends. I'm actually thinking of going spring cleaning and deleting some people who I haven't talked to since adding them...

EDIT: Just did and now I'm down to 9 friends. : )

Pretty much yeah.

I accidentally added the wrong people onto my facebook before. But it gets confusing when you know like 4 different "Jennifer Lee" and you can't really make out from their profile picture if they're the right Jennifer you're looking for. Surprisingly even when I accidentally add people I don't actually know, they don't really hesitate to add me back.

xD Yes. They're like "OH MY GAWD FRIEND!" and add you instantly.

I have like five friend requests on Facebook that I haven't approved or denied because I don't know if I know them. I think one or two of them are probably members here, but I only know them by their screen names. :P

THE JACKAL

I've had MySpace since 2004, and I never really did get interested in it. However, my now-ex-friends were (well, still are, that's why I moved on) a bunch of whiny drama queens-- I couldn't take their stupid http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif bulletins anymore. Even after deleting most of them, the few I still call friends have a habit of whining about stuff only they know what they're talking about (and frankly, no one else cares about). I only go on MySpace anymore when I get an email saying I have a message or comment. Otherwise, I don't care anymore, and if it wasn't for a couple of my friends I have no contact with otherwise, I'd delete the stupid thing.

That is so true, and pretty annoying as well!

To be completely honest, you can spot a "Cam Girl" or some other fake account from a mile way after being on a social site for at least a week. Maybe even a day or two. And I don't have that many friends either on Myspace. I only have family and I don't visit it too often. But normally, women have like 500 friends. Attention whore much? XD

In college high school, people add you on facebook if you've ever had a one word conversation with passed them in the hallway.

I try to avoid logging onto websites like Facebook and Myspace. Whenever I do log on for whatever reason, I become extremely depressed and violent.

"Your friend has added Friend A! They met through a social profiling program thing"
"Your friend has added Friend B! They've known each other since gradeschool and are the bestest of friends."
"Your friend has added Friend C! Because they are better than you."
"Your friend has more friends than you. Why don't you go kill yourself already?

Seriously, my front page on facebook is filled with those kinds of messages. The last friend I made on Facebook was like six months ago. I hate myself.

If I don't know you, or I don't know how I could be connected to you, then you can feck off. EoFFs get accepted even if I don't talk to them, just because they're good people and it'd be rude to ignore them.
