How do you take your toast? Charcoal black from being cooked so long? Peanut butter?

I like my toast to either be golden brown or just warm enough that it tastes like fresh baked bread <3 as for what goes on top, peanut butter or I Can't Believe It's Not Butter sprayed on with cinnamonsugar sprinkled on top <3

Slightly brown so it's basically warmer bread.

Golden brown of course. :p

Though I like to put on honey and penut butter and make it into a peanut butter sandwich with toast. ^-^

Sometimes I like it crunchy, other times just warmed. But I love my peanut butter :D

Give me a crumpet over toast.

but, toast - so it's golden brown and then the butter has to go on it whilst it's still hot so it melts into it. mmmmmmmm.

Just barely golden brown with butter.

Dutch people don't think it is a crime for a sandwich to taste good.

So we don't toast it, it's not neccesary.

US sandwiches only taste good when toasted. I blame the exceptionally poor quality of bread. Even the best bread the US has, that italian one(starts with an F), would still be considered a poor quality one compared to here.

It's a shame really, good bread makes all the difference. There is no need to put on 13 slices of roast beef when it tastes good with just one.

Same in England, really.

Warm and crispy with butter or spread, peanut butter, marmite, lemon curd or marmalade on.

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter

ALL ABOARD THE FAIL TRAIN. Seriously, that's kinda gross.

I prefer my toast to be toasted as little as possible. This means setting the toaster setting to the lowest possible numerical value which is like .33 on my crazy toaster. Then I put actual butter on it and call it good. Unless, of course, I am feeling adventurous. Then I put some cinnamon sugar concoction on it and throw a party the likes of which the world has never known. I never combine peanut butter with my toast because peanut butter is the Hitler of spreads.

I'm pretty serious about my toast, guys.

I used to be really fussy with toast, and when people would ask how I liked it I'd just say "well, warm bread really" but now I actually like it toasted xD not too much, just a nice golden brown~

I get bored of just toast (with margarine, healthier!) so I usually put ham and tomato on to make a toastie. They are delicious.

God yes. It's amazing how much better a sandwich is when the bread is high quality and lightly toasted.

I have it on a very low setting and try to get the butter on as quickly as physically possible so that it all melts in. Surface butter is bad.

Golden brown with blueberry jam =)
But only whole wheat.
And I mean WHOLE.
Not that honey wheat crap.

And sometimes I put peanutbutter.

Toast is for British people. I get all my essential vitamins and minerals from Coco Puffs and twelve bran muffins.
