Good night.
I just bought a PS2 with FFXII and I am going to enter the Bahamut
My characters are at level 46/47,have bubble, all basic strenght augments, all basic hp adding augments. They all have about 6000 HP and yesterday I obtained adramelech and exodus.
I donīt have any ultimate weapon.Just Hamerhead for every character I use.
What else do I need to defeat the final villains?

That's probably enough. Just have some decent healing spells ready and the last few bosses should be pretty simple.

What healing spells? Are there healing spells greater than curaja?
Roto13

Renew, but it's seriously unnecessary. Curaja is fine. And Arise should come in handy, too.

Pretty easy, wasn't it? :P I had more trouble with the bosses in the Pharos. There are some pretty tough extra bosses if you're looking for a more serious challenge, though.

I found getting to the bosses in the Pharos harder than actually fighting them.

That is so true.I found particularly funny the fish boss that can be taken down quickly with firaga.

Heh.......same here. I initially meant to get all the marks before the last boss. I gave up on that idea somewhere in the Pharos.
FE! Long time no debate :)
Any ideas on hidden meanings in this one?

Yes!I have theories on this one.
However, unlike ff8 this ones are just a few and very simple to understand(in most of the cases).
Of course ff8 is still better to me.
I wanna to finish everything that there is to finish before posting them here.
But I can take the veil a little.
I provide answers to questions like:
1-Who is the true villain of ff8?
I will call him y.
As always it will take a lot of time before i reveal that.
2-Who are the creators of deified nethicite?
This one will surprise you.
The right question would be "who is the creator".
3-why Venat want to crash the nethicite powered Bahamut with Rabanastre?
For instance I think I know the true roles of Vaan and Reks on the story.
I think I know the secret of their dark past.
A past they donīt remember because they forgot. It happened when someone tried to kill both before the events on the game. But they didnīt die. They became amnesic.

I look forward to hearing them FE, I may not agree with you most of the time but I do enjoy reading your thoughts. I can already say I'm a bit confused by the teaser questions cause the first two seem obvious to me from the games script but I'm assuming you are looking deeper into this.
The last question already feels a bit "out of left field" to me so I really look forward to hearing about that one. ;)

Alrighty then. Please enlighten me.

I'll guess Kytes, who ALSO DOUBLES AS THE VENAT.
3-why Venat want to crash the nethicite powered Bahamut with Rabanastre?
My guess is that the Venat (Kytes) wanted to kill Vaan and Reks. He succeeded in killing Reks already by manipulating Basch's twin. Now it was time for Vaan.
For instance I think I know the true roles of Vaan and Reks on the story.
I think I know the secret of their dark past.
A past they donīt remember because they forgot. It happened when someone tried to kill both before the events on the game. But they didnīt die. They became amnesic.
And it was Venat (Kytes) who wanted Vaan and Reks dead! But didn't succeed, and instead they were traumatized and experienced amnesia.
D@mn I'm good.

In fact Venat is the true villain of the game.
The question is:he has an identity. And it is not Kytes.
Vaan and Reks have two other younger brothers.

Vaan and Reks have two other younger brothers.
And are they Kytes and Filo?(before he got a sex change to become a girl)

This could get very interesting. I looked at some of the thread's FE started. One was 59 pages long. That is beyond impressive. The word describing how impressive it is does not exist in any language that once existed, that is in existence, or that shall ever exist.
I thought I was horribly under-levelled for the Bahamut, because I got to the room with the boss fight and thought it was just a random room to let you heal up from all the enemies. I missed the lift (or whatever it was that triggered the game going). So when I eventually did come back, I was so horribly over-powered that the last fight was ridiculously easy.

So it was Venat! WOOT!
Next guess for who the Venat is........Old Dalan

You talking about Vayne and his brother? You suggesting that Vaan and Reks were the two older brothers who were killed off according to in-game history?

Eureka!
Didnīt thought someone would guess it.
Even though that is easy.

But Vayne is older than Reks and Vaan? So, how can they be his older brothers?
Future Esthar

As I said,Vaan an Reks are amnesic and probably suffered from some kind of trauma. They wouldnīt remember even they age.
If you go to Phon Coast you will find there is a bujerban who falled from the sky and losed memory.
Vaanīs "imaturity" can be explained by the fact that he knows little of the world.Thatīs why he grows quick on Revenant Wings.
Balthier and Reddas act strangely near Vaan.Reddas even more.He puts too much confidence on him later on.
Balthier goes as far as letting him drive the Sthraal.
And Old Dalan seems to know a lot.
Vaanīs desire to be a sky pirate could come from a possible judge past(because he is a Solidor).
And Reks seems to have good fighting abilities for an amateur.
His feelings concerning his and Vaanīs opposition to the government probably spoiled and he joined the Resistance.
Vaan also acts strange toward Vayne sometimes and near the end of the game he seems to be physically stronger than Vayne.
A fat building donīt necessarily imply an older brother.
I would go as far as saying that Vaan is older than Reks.
And we know what that means, donīt we?

I'm just gonna pick on one thing here.
And Reks seems to have good fighting abilities for an amateur.
So does Penelo, got any theories about that? Also, Reks is in the Dalmascan Army, so it's likely he had training and what not so he knew how to wield a sword and cast magick.

I don't recall you mentioning this. Is it in another thread or something?
Balthier and Reddas act strangely near Vaan.Reddas even more.He puts too much confidence on him later on.
Balthier goes as far as letting him drive the Sthraal.
I think Balthier's just being nice, and knows that Vaan wants to be a sky pirate. I didn't notice anything strange in the way Reddas interacted with Vaan.
Vaanīs desire to be a sky pirate could come from a possible judge past(because he is a Solidor).
That is one of a near infinite number of possibilities.
And Reks seems to have good fighting abilities for an amateur.
His feelings concerning his and Vaanīs opposition to the government probably spoiled and he joined the Resistance.
One of the first lines of the games (if not the first) is Vossler talking about how they (Reks included) are slowing them down. And I think Reks was trained.
Vaan also acts strange toward Vayne sometimes and near the end of the game he seems to be physically stronger than Vayne.
That seems to be true for most Final Fantasies.
A fat building donīt necessarily imply an older brother.
I would go as far as saying that Vaan is older than Reks.
??????????
And we know what that means, donīt we?
That Vaan was born first? I have no idea.
I'd just like to say that the reason why I don't believe this theory is that in the entire game, not one person recognises Vaan as Vayne's older brother. Even when he goes to Archades, where the citizenry know what the elder brothers look like, no one recognises Vaan.
Combined with the fact that it is implied that the Judges saw Vayne kill his older brothers, and that Vayne looks older than Vaan (who looks like a starved child), I can't see much merit in this theory.

Thin building and face not allways imply younger age.
For example, who is older,Rasler or Vayne?
That one will generate doubts because Raslerīs personality is adult so we associate that with his physical structure.
But his physical structure is actually kinda similar to Vaan(thin, near blonde hair,etc..)
People on Archades donīt need to know the unpopular "princes",just the ones which apear publicly due to famous doings(being ambassador, emperor) and the ones which travels too much(Larsa).
Much less people outside archades.
Some judges are as bad as Vayne so they would lie about our friends identity.
The only good ones who ever saw Vaan was Balthier and Reddas.
And maybe Vaan and Reks were judges so they appeared to persons wearing masks.
That seems to be true for most Final Fantasies.
I am talking about a storyline event before the Undying where Vaan kicks Vayne down. That always happen no matter your levels.
Vaan acts strange to Vayne in the beggining on the parade. And Vayne also acts strange.
One of the first lines of the games (if not the first) is Vossler talking about how they (Reks included) are slowing them down. And I think Reks was trained.
But not so trained as to take three or more formed archadian soldiers alone i guess.
That is one of a near infinite number of possibilities.
I was saying that because usually Judges have private ships.
You are right. But it didnīt kill to theorize, did it?
I think Balthier's just being nice, and knows that Vaan wants to be a sky pirate. I didn't notice anything strange in the way Reddas interacted with Vaan.
Putting much responsibility in the hands of a kid.Hmmm.Improbable.And I was refering to the fact that Redas sees a good Sky Pirate on Vaan.
