Inspired by Rantzien's thread "Words" ;D

So, what names appeal to you the most?

I quite like Leon, Adam, Alexandra, Sara (;P), Scott, Mina, Michelle, Fatimah, Matthew, Christopher, Victoria, Yuki, Michael/Mikael, Nicolas, Clear/Claire, Angeline, Kunimitsu, Gabriella, Fox, Avon, Erik, Daniel, Eve, Franklin, Rebecca, Lincoln, Fuji, Isabelle, Siobhan, Kim, Veronica, Ava, Cheyenne, Julia, Serena, Laura, Mei, May, Wolfe, Thomas, William...

Well, that's some list: blaa, blablablablaaa, bla, bla xD Probably many others I like that I'm forgetting at the moment, but anyway!

So tell me, which names do you like the most? :choc2:

I have always been fond of the name Sarah, but only with an H. The name Jennifer has also appealed to me for quiet a long time.

If I have a male child, I will name him Edward Fitzgerald. But only because my last name starts with a G, I do not really care for either name.

I've always rather liked the name Heath which is partly why I took it as my username here (also because I liked the Seiken Densetsu 3 character). Like Bunny, I've also like Sarah but only with an 'h'. Emma, Eleanor and Fiona are other girl names I like. I like my own first and middle name (Thomas and Samuel respectively), though that might be partly because I think they compliment each other.

I likes the names Jenny and Daisy.

I like poncey names like Julian, Graham, and Rupert. Oh and Hank. You can never, ever go wrong with Hank. As far as girl's names go, I like the way Fiona and Charlotte sound.

Oh my x) My favourite names change very frequently. I...don't think any pique my interest particularly at the moment.

I like flowers (Rose, Daisy, etc.) and stones (Ruby, Pearl, etc)

...why does it seem like all of the cool names are girls' names? I think we should claim the elements. I'm changing my name to Beryllium!

Dolentrean

Vincent. I only like the full name, I don't like short versions like Vince or Vinny.

I've always been put off the flower names as a result of Keeping Up Appearances. Don't think I'd want Daisy, Hyacinth, Rose or Violet as a daughter! Though Onslow would be a good son because I believe he supports Everton and is generally fantastic.

And what is wrong with having a Mercedes and room for a pony, anyway?

I like Lilian, just so you can be called 'Lily', or Colette. That's so cute. I basically like any name that can be abbreviated, as that's something I'll never get as my parents chose my name specifically for that reason!

For a girl, I love the name Skye.

For a boys name it often changes, but I quite like ones beginning with J - like Jamie, Jake, Jason. but there are a ton of guy names I like. :jess:

you guys are so lucky. Pretty much every Norwegian name for males is ugly. Female names are better represented though.

Ada, Thea, Anja, Birgitte, Kaja, Malene, Maren, Maria, Mina, Pia

I also really like the names Laura and Kate, but the norwegian pronounciation are raping them both. I'll have to move to an English speaking country if I want to use them.

I am not being brought along on this crazy ride - I hate like, almost every single of those male names! Emberlynn is pretty, yes, but I'd cry if my name was Viktor Tiberius. >;o Emmett is nice though.

If I were to have children, I would name one Justin II, and then demand that my lineage continue this as a tradition with Justins III, IV and so on.

But, I'm not having kids, so there's nothing to worry about.

Madame Adequate
09-30-2008, 01:04 AM
We've previously discussed this and you personally agreed that at least half of those were acceptable or better, woman.

And poor kids? No, lucky adults. Poor every other adult with boring names like James and Paul and Daniel.

PS: Barry thinks Viktor Tiberius Hobbes is badass so, y'know, duke it out with the Jew. Jewk it out, you might say.

I really like the name Lyra (LEE-ruh). I dunno why.

For guys' names, I am a fan of Robert, because people named Robert respond to like 5 different nicknames. Plus, its a name that's been going around my family for about 400 years, so...

I liked the name Nicholas or Edward for a boy. Which is why my oldest son is named that. I do like my little ones first name, which is Lukas. I'm not a fan of his middle name, but I had to compromise with his Dad.
For a girl, I liked the name Miranda..

Don't mind Violet, just don't want Bruce as well.

And I think Onslow supports Everton. I seem to remember him getting annoyed with Daisy when he found out she supported Liverpool.
