Let's start a social group on EoFF, erikramza, just you and me. What do you say?

The same thing happens for me. I have no idea how to fix it, though sometimes logging out and then back in makes it better.

But who wants to do that all the time? Somebody, plz help! :D

MSN is the best for me, except when it decides to be a bitch with not sending some messages, which is pretty rare for me. The usually great webcamming on MSN makes it really worth it for me to use.

It refuses to send messages quite often with me, but I've usually chalked that up to my Internet connection being terrible or something. I keep considering changing to Trillian or something but never get around to it. That and I never use AIM at all these days and see little point in having a multi-IM program.

If Trillian wasn't so ugly, I'd consider switching to it. I use it for my Yahoo/AIM when I feel talkative. ;o

Yahoo! Messenger is the best for me, but I also use AIM and IRC. I have Trillian too, for the few times Y!M and MSN decide not to co-operate with each other.

MSN is great, I spend too much time on it.

trillian has skins. It's not uglier than having a bunch of ads or buttons for things you don't use :}}}}}}

MSN only fails to deliver messages from me when I'm talking to someone using Yahoo, because Yahoo sucks. Seriously. The network was always so unreliable I don't use it at all any more.

MSN only fails to deliver messages for me when I accidentally deactivate my wireless connection.

Mines started doing it recently, but only because I've been having server issues, so its' hardly MSN's fault. :p

On the whole MSN has always been fairly reliable for me. But I noticed that long conversations always mess up some things. File transfer is more likely to fail and there's never a preview anymore. Also, drawings no longer show up and yes, in some cases I get that dreaded "message couldn't be sent" error.

I've had a Jabber account for years now, but no one else I knew was using it and using it with ICQ or MSN contacts is not really as convenient as using a real ICQ/MSN client, so I stopped using it.

I use my Gtalk account in Pidgin.

So basicly I can't fix it? Gotta wait it out, and try logging in and out...

I have never had problems with Windows Live Messenger or older versions of MSN. Are you sure that you have all your .NET Framework versions up to date? (usually Windows Update gets them but you never know).

Krelian

The .NET framework doesn't have anything to do with Windows Live Messenger. Unless they changed it in the latest version and I'm not aware of it it's not even a .NET application.
