I love this band, and I've been telling my family about them for some time and they're like, meh. Then that "I Don't Care" song with that guy from whatever that band is is just EVERYWHERE (I don't like that song, btw) and they find their covers of Metallica and Tool and other bands and go like HAY JESSICA YOU EVER HEAR OF THIS BAND? :mad2:


So now they're listening to the same stuff they always do only now it's Apocalyptified. They're neat and all, but it just makes me sad that they don't take the time to listen to their original stuff :(

The only song by them that I liked at all was Quutamo. I really, really like that song. Everything else from them I thought was sub par or average at best.

Generally I don't mind when a band I liked (when they weren't very famous) gets famous. Actually, I like it. If I like a band I want them to be famous because they are a good band and deserve to be famous, so I don't get too peeved in those situations really.

I probably wouldn't go THAT far. They still have good songs on their newer albums. I do think that their older albums are more fluid and I can listen to them more with out having to skip boring tracks. As bands get bigger they get more radio friendly. Also known as boring and formulaic.
