Doesn't this qualify as slander/libel? Of course, there is some truth to it. SE COULD probably survive a few years with just re-hashing previous versions of Final Fantasy games and sequels. With the release of the FFXIII games next year as well as FFVII:ACC on Blu-Ray, I guess we could technically see within the next year or so if they really DO shutdown FF development. Anyways, take it with a grain-of-salt because this guy "Andrew" just sounds like a bitter, whiney uber-geek that got stoned by Cockatrice's one too many times.

Square-Enix also announced several new compilations and re-imaginings that were in the works. It will also feature a New Game+ mechanic similar to that seen in Chrono Trigger that will allow gamers to unlock different girls’ “special features” without going through the game from scratch.

It is pretty funny. I don't mind remakes and sequels if they are quality. Though I don't generally like direct sequels to FFs, if the games are good and respect the integrity of the source material, I seriously can't complain.
