*sigh* WAV to MP3?

Anyone know of a completely free WAV to MP3 converter? I know such a thing probably doesn't exist, but it would be much appreciated if you could help me out. And people, don't think I haven't looked for it myself, so saying to Google search it will not be appreciated.

There's lots of them!

cdex, audacity+lame encoder, etc, itunes, random mp3 players

Most of the free ones probably use LAME encoder as the backend to encode anyway :p
