Therefore, I won't be voting.

Tbh this year I think the way to choosing a candidate or well the voting is kinda boring :/ I liked last years with all the stories and pictures and songs and such.

The elections have always been the least exciting event at EoFF for as long as I can remember. And aren't they normally held earlier in the year? And what happened to the Screen Name Tournament? Just because Proto left doesn't mean the tournament has to leave; look at [every other contest that has a host that is a replacement for the original].

Also more people should vote! Come on, it's just choosing two names! Please?

This is what happens when you leave us, Denmark! You miss stuff. Now don't ever do it again.

The problem isn't how the elections are this year, but no one understanding how to participate...

Election Booth

I thought about producing a fun activity list to give examples of things that people could do to have fun, but figured that was too patronising.

Still, it is the people like Mr. Pauper and NeoCracker who fill in the cracks that are left by the parties and make the elections more enjoyable.

Dignified Pauper

The truth of the matter is, this place WANTS ME! THIS PLACE NEEDS ME!

That, and you all are buffoons. This election actually holds a lot of promise. GoBo and Rye and some others have the right idea. You actually have to campaign with satire and humor to get elected. Until you all start shaping up, I'm just going to stop reporting. It's hard to report when no one is giving you material. :( So please, stop complaining and do better.

Goldenboko
10-23-2008, 02:48 AM
Poor Pauper!

More reason why you should vote for me. A vote for GoBo is a for sex. I don't exactly know what that had to do with anything you said, but still!

EDIT: How many votes ya' got Psy?

Psychotic

None, I'm not a candidate.

Election Booth

We have 18 voters so far. Come on, let's make 20 at least! ;)

In one party it is very, very close! Two candidates are on four, and two more are on three, so every vote counts.

A lot of candidates have not voted yet though, so shame on them. :p

Aerith's Knight
10-23-2008, 10:31 AM
Maybe I should become the election political comic maker instead. Like in the paper. :)

Snot like I'd win this anyway. xD

I'd need to be neutral right? Hmm, I'd best withdraw after the presidents have been announced. :)

I say candidates that don't even vote get DQ'd, and that ain't Dairy Queen'd!

19 voters now. Come on, just one more, I want to make 20! Whoever is reading this, yes, you, if you haven't already voted, please do so. Please. Pretty please. Pretty please with a cherry on top. :aimkiss:

Why should I be forced to do something that is against my interests? I cannot vote for myself and I want myself to win, so why would I even bother voting?

You can vote for yourself for one of the categories.

Well, I say there are about 30, maybe 40 active members.

Excluding everyone who didn't joing a party and doesn't care, you come to that number, no?

Flying Mullet

With the percentage of the population that votes in elections, these numbers aren't surprising. :(

I wasn't old enough to vote in the primaries for this US election so I see it wrong to vote in the EoFF ones :P
