Saw it last night. I haven't seen any of the others, yet I was explaining what was going on to two of my mates, who have seen them all. I thought it was good, but boring at times. Nothing special.

It'll be released in Norway on the 14th of November, so I'll stay clear of this thread until then. :D

I find it really depressing they have made FIVE of these.

Same. I watched the first, didn't like the second and I haven't attempted any of the others.

I can't sit through torture scenes x_x

It's not my thing... But I've heard the ending twists have been clever.

I vowed to not watch any of them after I saw the third one. By then there wasn't even really a story, just a bunch of crap to tie in between really gross torture porn scenes.

I find myself interested in the torture methods but I don't have any desire to see them. It's hard to believe they pull off most of the stuff they do without getting an X rating slapped on them.

I just gave up on the series after the third >_> They're just too painful to watch. Isn't there supposed to be three more?

They'll keep churning out more as long as people keep paying to see them.

I decided not to watch anymore Saw after three as well, I only liked the original for its possible potential, and II and III were just terrible. I refuse to see IV, V, or anything after it.

eh, this wasn't nearly as gory as the two last movies, which is a good thing for all i'm concerned. Only had to look away three times!;)

Wouldn't recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen all the others though. The story would only get too confusing and not enjoyable. Looks to me like they're tieing up loose ends so they can end these series too. Good movie overall, best since Saw 2 in my opinion.

These movies are supposed to make me feel subjective existential meaning in life. They have not been doing that in a while.

Furthermore as stated by those who just like it for the fluff: it also hasn't been very good lately either.

I'll keep watching because I'm one of those 'fans' but it's the same as watching halloween 6 (lol) at this point.

I really liked the first one, didn't really care for the second one. When I started noticing the pattern, I didn't really care for the series anymore. I passed Saw III to see Borat.

My bro said Saw 5 was amazing. His favourite equal with the original.

I've only seen Saw 2 which was average at best. And I won't be seeing Saw 5 seeing as it's pointless just to watch random parts of a series.

Oh no, not another one of these mind-numbing films.

I'll tell you what I won't believe about the ending: If it actually ends the series. Wouldn't that be a merciful twist?

During the release of Saw III, Tobin Bell signed a contract to make 5 more films. So yeah, if they keep doing unnecessarily well, they will make at least three more. I don't understand it.

I refused to see any more of these movies after the second one blew hard.

First one was good, then it went downhill. Saw IV was quite good because of the background to Jigsaw.

I have no interest in this.

I liked it but i hadnt watched the previous Saw movies besides half of the first one so i guess my expectations werent as high as everyone elses.

Anyway i totally saw the 'meaning' behind the test in the four rooms before they even finished the first room. It was abit dissapointing how completely stupid these people were.

Saw V disappointed me. It felt very minimal and sparse compared to the last four; there wasn't quite enough there to hold my attention, apart from a couple of innovative torture scenes. (Finally, the glass box trap!)

I really want to see this, i am a big fan of the saw films, wilst i admit that they have been lacking in quality lately the story really intrieges me.
Ill wait for this to come out on dvd before i see it, complete the set...so far.
