ANYWHO This movie scared me so much! The first like half hour is boring and the camera gets blurry and such but dear god this movie is scary. D: Anyone else seen it yet?

Easily on of the worst movies I've seen all year. I couldn't grasp how terrible it was at points.


I LOVED it when he was beating the zombie in the face with the bulky unwieldy camera. I laughed so hard I almost got kicked out of the theater.

Cloverfield looks like Citizen Kane in comparison, and I thought Cloverfield was just okay.

The shaky cam effect is just awful, I thought it worked out alright in Cloverifeld, and I even didn't mind Blair Witch AS MUCH as most people. This though... just no.

But at the end i was like AHHHHHH That one fireman was bad ass by the end though.

Well that's what I hated most about Cloverfield. The shaky cam drove me insane, and I couldn't focus. That was also intensified because everything was dark. It looked all blurry and hard to see, imo.

[REC] is pretty sweet, in my opinion. Just don't attempt to make sense of the plot. Haven't seen Quarantine so I can't compare them. I'll tell you one thing about [REC] though, Manu is a fucking badman.

I wasn't a huge fan of this movie by any means. There were some scary jump parts, but other than that, it was kind of lack luster. The ending sucked too.

You could tell this movie would suck just by the commercial, which is why I haven't seen it.

I was kind of disappointed, cuz the girl from Dexter is in it and I like her. I wish she would find some better roles :rolleyes2

I want to go and see Quarantine with a certain couple of friends, mainly so that I can laugh when they jump out of their skins and start running for the exit.

The only reason this movie was enjoyable for me was because I went with my buddy who had the same shoes as the cameraman in the film. Every time the guy would drop the camera to climb up something or pointed the camera down, my buddy would stick out his feet and giggle. Seeing a big tough black guy with a fro giggling like a schoolgirl would make almost any bad movie worth the time.

Personally I had not been aware of the original until this thread; the piece of crap American remake is all I was presented. Now I'll probably look up and watch the original though.
