Well simple question, do you always make your bed? The only I do it is when I someone's coming over, but other than that ICBA.

I make my bed, and I have a top bunk at college. No one has an excuse to not make their bed, therefore. >;o

Most of the time. Lately, though, I have just been too lazy. My room is a mess, and I can't stand it, so I spend as little time in there as possible.

Hard out there for a lazy neatfreak. :shame:

I only make my bed to keep the dogs from sleeping on the part of my bedcovers that will touch my skin.

I make my bed as soon as I get out of it. I can't stand my room to be messy in any way.

No, I do not. I fail to see the point in making something that is invariably going to be messed up at the end of the day anyways.

I don't leave it trashy, but I don't exactly "fix" it. I pull the covers back up square, but I don't pull the sheets off and then put them back on.

The very odd time. There.. there I said it!

I have been known to. Most of the time I make my bed, sometimes I'm in a mad rush for a morning wedding and I don't.

What. Why would I make my bed? it just ends up just as messy the next night, what a waste of time. Seriously, my sheets are often all over the floor and I don't care. I'll quickly 'do' my bed if a mates coming round, but it's usually a cba-not-done-properly job.

Only out of of fear that a room inspection might suddenly be coming. Otherwise, I wouldn't.

My roommate last year used to stand in the window sill to make her bed on her lofted bed.

Anyways, I just wanted to brag taking my mattress down off my lofted bed, putting a foam mattress pad on, putting sheets on and getting the mattress back up on the loft by myself at move in this year.

I never make my bed. Don't see much point. I'm absolutely dead in the morning too. I don't have the energy to make anything but coffee.

The top bunk is NOT easier. xD It's like making a bed at home. I've done it before. I much prefer doing that than standing on the tiny ledge of my desk or having to sit on my bed while making my bed. It hardly ever comes out just right. ;;

Ouch!

When I expect guests. I had an unexpected guess today. She said she thought my room was fairly clean. I was embarrassed regardless.

Exactly. I'm the only one in my room anyway. I generally keep everything else tidied up though, but why go to the trouble to tidy up something you won't even see again until you go to bed, and you mess it up so you can sleep?

The only way a top bunk is harder is if its really high. Though if you're just really short, I could see it being a problem. :p

Hell, I loved having Top Bunk in Basic, its a lot easier to move around the bed to get things done. :p

Edit: Also, I hate beds. Couch FTW!

She is.

My husband makes the bed. I used to make it right before getting into it before I had him.

The size constraints of a dorm room alone make that an ordeal. :p

I never make my own bed. Such a waste of time. If I sleep at someone's house, I will make the bed out of politeness. That is the only reason to ever make a bed.

Let's just say, if my closet had doors, I would not have been able to do it. I had to simultaneously stand on the mattress and lift the other end to get it where I could put it back on my bed xD

Well, it's just a force of habit now. All thanks to the wonderful world of proper manners and etiquette (sp? lol) ( which I was forced to learn thanks to my high strung family ).

Seriously, no. You should let your bed air.

I usually don't bother, but sometimes think about it, since it tends to be more comfortable getting into a tidy bed for some reason :p I always make it when changing the sheets though :p

I don't because there isn't a point. I'd just ruin it when I go to sleep. That and it takes up time better spent here.

I make it neater, sometimes. Most of the time I just get up and leave it, because I'll be back there soon enough. And nobody goes into my room, so only I have to look at the mess

People who make the bed are weird. Seriously, who the hell else is going to see it apart from you or your partner?

I don't make my bed for other people, I make my bed because I think it looks nicer to have a made bed and I like to look at nice things.

All the time. All I really do is fold the blanket instead of neatly spread it over the bed. I don't really mind if I left it unfolded when someone comes in.
