So, as the seasons change, the air gets drier, and static electricity builds up. Clothes become clingy; my hair becomes untamed; doorknobs, cats, and other objects shock me; etc.

What are your thoughts on static electricity?

I never get shocked. :(

My hair gets frizzy as hell unless I put a smoothing gel in it, though.

One day, a few days ago, I kept shocking myself so much on the door knob to the bathroom that I almost cried. It was making me so upset! It made my hair fly away too!

Jeez louisiana! =[

I get shocks off almost anything metal. I may even have mutant electrical powers.

I know one thing. My cat must hate it. I can't seem touch it with shocking the crap out of it. Now for some reason it doesn't wanna sleep on top the chair in my room any more.

Other than my cat, I get shocked by the knobs on my door and light chains.

Well, my hair was flying around in strands today, and this is the first time I noticed it. Kinda annoyed me. A lot. :mad2:

I expected this to be about rubber bands for some reason.

Static electricity is fun. Especially when cats are involved.

I like getting charged up and zapping people. It's so funny.

I have made a habit of constantly touching metal where ever I go to lower the chances of surprise static shocks. Its abit of an imposition on my life but its worth it, and because i go to such an effort i am especially irritated by people who purposly go out of thier way to shock me, so much that I proceed to slap them in the face. I am not joking, it's only really happened once, but i would do it again.

The worst shocks I get are from getting out of my car in dry weather. It's usually no small shock either...my finger goes numb for a few seconds. It's actually worse if I have my stereo running at all, one time it actually stole my breath. LOL I LOVE IT! :D

I think it's pretty damn cool. Going around and shocking people with these temporary super powers is funny as hell. Also, I have fond memories of me rubbing balloons in my hair to make it stick to walls and ceilings.. Ah, sweet childhood and what boredom made me do.

Sometimes when I travel back in time in my head, I use static electricity to scare the locals.
