I'm on disc 3 and i have the Kirman and Burman coffees, but i still need to get the Moccha, which is proving more difficult than expected...is it still possible to get this coffee on disc 3? because all of the walk throughs i've read say it's at south gate next to a healing spring...and i don't see a healing spring (most also mention something about the chocobo forest but i have no idea where that comes in)

My question is, can somebody tell me if i can still get this coffee on disc 3, and if so, can you give me detailed instructions as to where to get it? :p it would be hugely appreciated

Yeah the coffee is in South Gate, and the location (which is pictured above) can be found just around where Chocobo Forest is, by the mountains (you'll see an arch). If you go in there you'll find the coffee.

Just wait until you get the airship.

apparently i can't do it on the 4th disc cos he'll be dead :| or something :shifty: this is my first playthrough, so no major spoilers in this thread if you can resist, please (relating to his death, i mean...if it even happens :p)

Wait until you get the boat on CD3, then you can get there easily as there's a beach by Chocobo Forest.

And you can get there (as well as to where the old man is on Observatory Mountain) at any point if you're on the Mist Continent if you have a Chocobo that climbs mountains (a Red one)

Is there even anything you can do with that model? I got it every time, but I never really saw the point.

It's like the Athlete Queen you get from racing Hippaul or the Mini-Cid/Mini-Burmecia/Mini-Brahne things. Just optional extras to get in the game I guess. I'm not sure if it boosts your Treasure Hunter rank at all. Otherwise it's probably there for people who like to do as much as they can in the game. I like doing those little side-quests anyway.

new problem! :D i have the boat and the coffee, but now i can't get around these effing cliffs that surround Dali (among other towns) and the only way to get inside is the Alexandria (i think) port, however, once you get onto the world map from Alexandria, you're on another tall cliff thing that you can't get down from, but that 'basin' of sorts is where Dali is :eep: halp

well thanks for searching and all, but none of those help in the slighest way, apart from making me more certain that i've missed the chance to give the coffee to him

Best bet is to get the Chocograph that makes your Chocobo a Red one, so it can climb over the mountains - it's called Dawn Lagoon and I think it's on the coast in the sea near Treno. You can probably look it up on GameFAQs or something if you need to find it (after getting it in Chocobo Forest/Lagoon anyway)
