It's unconventional, I agree, but I like it. It's a cool interpretation, especially with the vocals. The sound reminds me of another band, but I can't place a name. It is all pretty cool, but the random inserts of effects is distracting, like around 3:15? and 3:40?. I kept on thinking there was something in my place interrupting my listening to your song. :p

Yeah, i think those effects are still too present in the mix. They were supposed to sound like Bahamut's mega flare or something, but . . . they are a little distracting.
