I have a bicycle for sale in a local online classifieds and someone contacted me yesterday about it, but instead of paying all cash they offered partial cash and a Wii sports bundle, which I turned down. I never thought I'd see the day I would turn down video games. :(

Did their offer match the value of the bike?

I mean, really, with the Wiis being at a shortage this time of year, and if it was a new in box, you probably could've made a fortune for it on eBay if you didn't really want the console...

The offer was about what I could get for a Wii, so it was a wash.

I don't like you anymore, Mulley.

I wish someone would trade a WII for my bike. Symphonia 2 is out on shelves today.

There are no words.

Someone take this poser off the CK team! We don't need your kind here!

Hold out for a 360, Mulley. Or a PS3 at the very least.

My brother-in-law just got a red ring of death on his 360 today. Maybe it's an omen...

I am losing more and more respect for you each day Mulley :(

Though Psy has the right idea; get a 360. All the cool kids have them.

Every time I walk through a Wal-Mart or a Target, they're there. All of the cash to be made with consoles on eBay are the year a new console comes out, not two later. :/

Hsu's first question is still relevent, but it's also a question of wanting a console in the first place. I think the Wii is a ton of fun, so maybe I'm biased...

I have someone else coming by to possibly buy my bike this evening. If they aren't interested I'll probably call the guy back and say my wife said she might want it and see what he's offering.

I have a Wii.

I called the guy back Monday morning and told him I found out my wife was interested in the Wii and if he still had it and was interested in the bike to let me know. I wanted $400-$500 for the bike and he gave me $200 and the Wii for the bike, so if I sell the Wii for $250-$300 that will be $450-$500, which works just fine.

I almost lost some respect for you, then you mentioned selling the Wii and everything was ok again. :p :D

I think a DS is a great idea. Then again, I don't have anything newer to compare with.
