ok I cant get GAU i cant find any dried meat so he wont join my team help please he is the only character i havent got back from the WOR (WORLD OF RUIN)

In the world of ruin you don't need Dried Meat for Gau to rejoin you. Simply wander the Veldt with three party members and after a battle Gau will show up and he'll re-join your party. It's very similar to when you're teaching Gau rages in the Veldt and he shows up after battle after you've sent him off before and he rejoins your party.

Remember to have 3 members only. With 4, he won't show up.

Do not attack him if he appears. Just wait it out. Sometimes it takes him a minute to decide to return. Other times he jumps right on.

hey guys sorry to bump an old thread but I have been walking around in the Veldt for about an hour and still no Gau.

How long does it usually take?

edit: Ok I found him. I was searching inside the cave which is wrong. You're supposed to fight around just outside the cave and you'll find him.
