I was figuring out why Squall`s face had a black hole at the end of the game, and I`ve finally concluded ...

See the similarity? Ultimecia had white/bright yellow light on her face and black light on Squall`s face.

When Ultimecia began compressing time, everything become disorientated. Specific timelines from past, present and future being interrupted with each other. The game says that time compression is dangerous = you will expect unexpected occurrences. I think this is the reason.

EDIT- During that fight, there`s something strange on her legs. It looks like Anima which I think make sense because Anima represents a sign of being aggressive. Ultimecia was being aggressive at that time too.

Maybe, but I think when Squall was fighting against Ultimecia`s final form, he saw her head which caused a figment of his imagination.
During the flashback, he started conceiving his memories. At the end of that flashback, he saw a blackhole on his face.

After Ultimecia`s fight, about a few moments later, a FMV shows up (Squall stranded in the Desert; Space-Time Collapses Rinoa in the Ballroom). The picture of Squall`s blackhole is part of the FMV and displays in only one frame; it`s hard to notice but it`s there.

I think ff8 is one of those games no matter how many times you play it you find something new. well if you look hard enough though.

Theres also the point that Serapy believes that everything in FF8 alludes to something deeper, instead of just maybe being made just to look cool
