You can use the 7-zip file extractor. It's a really nice utility that will also read other compressed files like Zips, Rars, etc...

oh right, default compression mode :p Yeah, I use 7zip because it tends to compress better than zip and rar for most files I need to compress, plus it's open source unlike zip and rar :D
