My friend came over to do some crafting and we spent the majority of our time making magnets, mostly Twilight.

This pretty much sums up the entire book:

Made from LJ icons:

The LJ icons I used to make the above set:

And, my personal favorite even though the picture doesn't do it any justice: SPARKLE EDWARD!

Muahahaha! I also made the Raine Wilson GAP commercial one you can see in the first picture, but it took zero effort so I didn't post in particular. And I made some Disney princess ones but those are just essentially putting a sticker on an old magnet and cutting it out.

Also, we need a "C" prefix for "craft." Someone call Yams!

That magnet gives me spontaneous orgasms. Rob Pattinson, why do you do this to me?

Seriously. The power he has over my loins is positively unnatural.

Nice! Especially the Twilight one, that ought to be shown to every Twilight fangirl out there.
How do you do those? I think I could have a good time designing my own magnets.

I SPOT MR. DARCY!!

How do you make magnets anyway?

The bulby ones you just buy those flat-bottomed marbles from a craft store or Wal Mart or whatever and then glue a picture and some magnet to the back. I just printed those pictures from my computer, stuck them to self-adhesive magnet, and then used E6000 glue to stick it on the marble.

Usually you'd use the smaller marbles and just make little pictures, but the big marbles work too.

For the sparkle ones you have to buy this weird adhesive stuff (I forget what it's called but you can't use just glue) and the glittery stuff is called "micro beads."

There's directions for this stuff on Craftster but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

Some of them, like the princess ones, are just stickers that I stuck to old magnets (like the ones you get as advertisements. Others, like the Rainn Wilson GAP ad, I just stuck to self-adhesive magnet I bought at a craft store and cut out.

The Mr. Darcy one my sister-in-law bought me in London. :p
