SPAM TIME!!! :bigbiggri

...like I'd actually stoop to that level. Besides, there's probably some mods on invisible mode.

Anways to give this thread a topic, what's your opinion on using "summer" vehicle things of sorts like skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, wagons, and the like during the winter? Do you find it weird? Do you do it yourself?

I guess bikes during the winter aren't so weird since I've seen some people outside biking during the winter. As for the rest of them like skateboards, yeah, it's weird.

Since when was a bicycle a summer vehicle? I find more people ride them in the winter because they are faster than walking..

I always use a bicycle to go to school, but it's a lot nicer in the summer :p

Turn a skateboard over and it becomes a snowboard.

If I ban everyone who's posted in it would that make you feel better?

There was a guy skateboarding yesterday. He was just standing on the sidewalk in front of one of the buildings trying to do tricks. Then someone shouted (to someone else i thought?) and he just looked at them for like a whole minute. He was weird.

Riding a bike during winter is like a recipe for frozen eyes. You have to have a lot of control to avoid hitting people (not everyone is successful that I've seen) so to do it while your eyes are watering and your hands are cold, etc ust sounds like a bad idea. There are a few people that do it (out of necessity maybe?) and they look pretty miserable.

Unless it's the kind with the ends bent upward.

Then it's an instant faceplant.

I like to ride shopping carts regardless of season.

I'm part Geordie, so the differences in seasons means very little to me.

HELLS YES!!! SPAMMING!

Anyway, If I had a Kawasaki ninja (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2b1D5w82yU), I would drive it everywhere even during the winter! :D

I never considered anything to be a "Summer vehicle." Guess it's 'cause it doesn't snow where I live.

If they're genuinely being used as a form of transportation, it's not weird to see them in any season. I was a little surprised to see a guy on a skateboard last Thursday, but not because it's almost winter. It was pouring rain and I didn't think a skateboard would be too stable.

...okay, I know bikes, skateboards, and stuff aren't summer vehicles but I didn't know what else to call them.

It doesn't make that much of a difference where I live, it doesn't get that cold :p

I think we should flood the world and use jet skies.

Meh. Never seemed weird to me. Then again, I spent the last 22 years in southern California. On the other hand, where I live now, it's probably going to end up less than practical in a month or so. But that doesn't make it weird.
