I was driving a government car (nice ass '07 impala) with a lieutenant new to the unit, and I said something like "http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif, we gotta see what's up, sir".

It was a kinda fucked hit and run. The car that was hit jumped from the right most lane (5 lanes) all the way to the carpool lane. Seeing as how I was the first 'government worker' (or whatever the fuck I am) on scene, I felt obligated to stop and see if everyone was ok etc.

Dude was alright considering how fucked his car was . Little cut on his eye. I was trying to get an informal statement from him, but... I don't fucking speak Spanish (my Lt does).

Cops showed up, told them what was up, then we all went on our merry ways.

I'm tired... I'll probably edit the http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif out of this when I wake up, if it makes little sense... or probably not care when I wake up either way.

Anyways, what's some crazy http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif you saw recently? OR Also recently; describe a situation in which you took charge.

I wasn't directly related to the incident, but I was pretty horrified by all the images that were coming out of Mumbai after the massacres. That's some pretty fucked up stuff right there. Messed with my head for a day or two, cause it's so hard to wrap your head around cruelty like that.

The last time I really took charge was when my dog had puppies and I tried to help with the birthing process as much as I could, even though it was one of the grossest things I've ever witnessed.

going back to school last week-end, it had been snowing, so going up into the mountains it got below freezing, so by the time we were almost to fayetteville, we drove past a pick-up truck that had flipped over on its side and flipped around 180 degrees so that it was facing us and one headlight was directly over the other.

We had to drive over all the poor dude's tools too because his toolbox fell out and spilled all over the lanes.

You don't speak Spanish? What the hell kind of Mexican are you, erik? >:C Slacking in Mexican School, I'd bet anything!

Anyways I took charge of my situation when I woke up this morning and decided I wanted beer for breakfast and no one was going to tell me otherwise.

Mom feels like she's too busy to make anything but soup, so I've been cooking for us. One of the first meals I cooked was Miriel's stir fry, and I've been eating it a few times each week! =O

I also made spaghetti and meatballs, but mom didn't like them.

It took me four tries to understand your post. So... you were driving and saw an accident and pulled over to help? Yes?

How very nice of you.

I, uh, kick children's asses on a daily basis. Take charge of keeping them from becoming little gang bangers (I hope).

And I called the cops on a drunk driver once, but they never showed up. That's 2/2 times I called 911 and no one showed! Yet whenever I get more than a few miles above the speed limit they suddenly have no where important to be...

This summer a cop pulled Jeremy over, because his front license plate was gone, and she asked to see my ID as well as other questions about my stay in California, which I thought was weird (since I wasn't driving).

Not odd at all--she clearly just wanted your bod. Trying to find an excuse to do a strip search, you see.

I can't say I blame her.

And here people thought that Shlup never got drunk.
