I was in haneda airport in tokyo on my way down to komatsu. Just looking for some delicious japanese snacks and I came across this.

Soy sauce flavored kit kats. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIKGRpXGkbY)

Other Japanese snack foods. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkdXRRxJaJM)
EDIT!

Eating the soy sauce flavored kit kats (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE9Ua70g1yg)

Needless to say I bought them immediately. I haven't actually tried them yet though, I'm thinking of making a video of that...

As for a topic, what flavor kit kat would you like to see made? Any weird food items anybody had come across lately?

That's disgusting.

I want fruity flavored kit kats.

This japanese store in this mall near my house sells milk flavored candy and other weird things like that.

I wish there were some stores dedicated to foreign foods around here. I'd like to see some of the neat things other countries eat.

I wanna eat those really bad. xD

Weird Asian snacks are really good, even though people don't think so! Green & red bean popsicles, for example, awesome stuff. And every sort of weird flavored drinks, some sound disgusting but are actually quite good. xD Grass jelly anyone?

I always have to mention those silly Canucks up north and their ketchup flavoured potato chips. :S

Also, ketchup flavored Kit Kats, pl0x.

You don't even have a Denningers (http://www.denningers.com/) in your city?

Green & red bean popsicles

OMG I LOVE THOSE TOO! Also red bean and green tea ice cream mmmmmmmm.

For a long time I didn't know ketchup chips were a Canadian thing. Either way, they're fucking delicious. I used to know this person who lived in the U.S. and we were going to send a package of candy to one another filled with all the U.S./Canada only treats we knew ... I don't know why we never got around to that.

Hah, I was expecting an answer like that from you. Green tea ice cream taste like grass. Don't ask me how I know what grass taste like.

Nope. Especially not since that site only shows locations in Canada.

Hmm, sounds interesting!

Grass jelly

Be careful that you don't get the Engrish version. That glass jelly can be pretty awful.

The only foreign foods I have near me are Chinese takeaway stores. If I travel a bit, there's a bunch of other stuff but I'm normally broke when I go there so I can't try any :(

Cream Collons are indeed, amazing.

They only really have Asian food stores near me, but there's a Japanese candy store (it has other stuff, but only the candy matters) and it makes me so incredibly happy.

I'd love to see them make a pumpkin pie flavor for the holidays. XP Yummy.

OR! PORK FLAVOR! YAYYYYY!

And, actually, thinking of how a soy sauce flavored Kit Kat would taste... Hmm... Kinda like a rice candy, or somethin'. Really good probably. And yes, make a video. I wanna see you eat those suckers.

Yeah pocky is good, but you'll never go back once you've had EPIC pocky, it's basically the same thing only bigger and more chocolatey. Awesomeness.

I've been drinking Taiwanese beer for no reason. It's more expensive, and tastes worse than most of the domestic stuff, so it's an obvious buy.

Green tea kit kats do exist.

In fact, they have a thing for flavouring kit kats here. I had both McFlurry Coffee flavoured kit kats and some "grapes of alexandria" or something kit kats as well. They were both awful.

There's also this absolutely terrible creation of Pepsi White (http://cloudedsky.net/2008/10/30/pepsi-white/).

EDIT: Also, Pocky < Toppo < Fran. If you can pick up some Fran you won't regret it.

I've had Toppo before but not Fran, I'm going to have to check that out.

Add both white chocolate (which is quite normal, but delicious) to the list as well as apple flavored. Stumbled upon those today.

Also, ran into aforementioned Final Fantasy Potion today. DO WANT. Have yet to try, but there are 16 different cans selling for 200 yen apeice and I MUST have the whole set. But how will I get them home?

My wife and I saw Kit Kat soda in a vending machine while in Japan. Needless to say we had to try it. Turns out it was actually a canister of Kit Kats that is kept in the refrigerated vending machine so they don't melt as the machine as at a train station outdoors.

Attached is a picture of me "pretend" drinking it after we knew what it was. Two school girls passed by while we were taking this picture and started laughing. I'm guessing they realized what mistake we had just made. xD

You win Mullet. I read the first part of that post and went, "WHAT? IT`S A DRINK AND NOT JUST KIT KATS REGRIDGERATED IN THE MACHINE?!?"

Oh how you got me.

I've seen only boring (read normal) flavoured kit kats here in the uk, dark chocolate, orange, peanut butter, white. However I'm up for trying anything really including those soy sauce kit kats...tempting to send money for a box of each flavour shown in the video...

As for weird stuff, I live in London and work in central london, I just hit China Town for my weird stuff I get pocky there easily also theres "the bakery" or as it's properly called "The Golden Gate Bakery" which sells lots of unusual cakes like pandan sponge. They also do these roast pork pastries which are nice and mixed meat croquetes these being chinese I believe. I could eat from there every day of the year I tried a yam pastry from there one it was very odd.

They sound disgusting! ..but at the same time I think I'd have to try one when I arrive in Japan myself this March xD Too interesting too just pass by.

Anyway, China has some freaky snacks. Chicken feet are a classic there, and I tried one. Don't go there people. It's like bone with some weirdly flavoured skin on it - and then you can use the nails to clean your teeth afterwards.

EDIT: Oh, and they also have lyche flavoured chips.
