I could do a lame DD one-liner, but I won't. This award is one of the most special out of them all. Unlike most of the other awards, you can only be eligible, let alone win it, once. Unless you join like a day or two before the nominations start and spam the place up gaining instant recognition, but you'd be more likely to win MLT Get Banned for that. I'm one of the fortunate ones. Six months ago, I was not only nominated for this award, but I beat off competition from more awesome members such as Akaria and Caraliz to win it. Why the hell more people voted for me, I don't know. Were you all on crack or did you just forget to take your medication? Winning this award is a great accomplishment. You have to make yourself noticed on a board full of people who have no idea who the hell you are, and with so many well established friendship groups here that's no easy feat. No, you bloody, ignorant heap of masses. I will, of course stack my scorn and my distaste on you, because no one actually reads speeches. Instead, my powerful rhetoric will passively convince you all that the Site Staff are, in fact, awesome. Not only are we awesome, but we have acquired that which no one can ever have in the history of the world: a distaste for ourselves.

Now, keep your love locked down. Or else, you lose. Sure we can say that the Site Staff are lazy, full of sloth, and incredibly angry more than half of the time, but what matters most is that we, with enough time, get the job done. It's not enough that the public gets to choose, but within a community of people with special status, we too have our opinions, while we muse, smoke, and drink behind the glass.

Despite the opinions of the public, there is always work going on. The problem is that people don't always see it. What's the point of showing you if we ourselves aren't satisfied with it? The best opinion is the informed opinion. And frankly, we're pretty sure that we're informed. Three sections in the works, plans for about six more, and a constant drive for finding new information to provide is but the tip of the iceberg that Site Staff do. You just don't get to see it.

Eyeson's Next Cid's Knight was a success in more ways than one. Not only was it a fun and lively competition, but it produced a winner that not many saw coming. In fact, I dare say that the forums staff may have never saw the light on Flying Mullet if it wasn't for this event.

The staff didn't just hand pick their favorite among the finalists who would have gotten the job anyway, as we could have done. Mullet was the true winner of the competition in every sense as he was the one who stood out the most during it. At the end we knew that he was one member who could make a true positive and lasting difference on the fourms, and we were right!

Mullet has taken to the position very well, becomming one of the most active and contributing members in such a short time. His high posting activity helps maintain a positive relationship with the members. His technical knowledge is invauable. He even has braved the most draining task in all of Eyes on Final Fantasy, running the Ciddies! And lets not forget he's an all around really cool dude who bikes in 100 mile marathons and once wrestled down a grizzly bear with his bare hands. This guy is the whole package.

Big D probably could rival Stephen Hawking when it comes to IQ, and is certainly a guy you don't want to see at the opposite end of your chessboard (Educated guess). Big D can mostly be seen posting around the EoEO forum, In a way that we often see the more serious side to him, but we also see the humorous side too. I was recently browsing through the FFXII forums and seen the thread 'Race and racism in the Archadian Empire'. I went in and read the thread started by the guy and just said to myself "I don't think anyone other than Big D would have noticed that". A deserving nominee.

What do you really say about Psychotic? He's one of those members that when he says something most listen because of his own unique (albeit eccentric) views on most issues. Psychotic is a name fitting for a man who supports Liverpool FC, and probably even more so when you see his crazed expressions photographed in various threads. When you think of someone, you automatically think of maybe a couple of things that remind you of the person. Well, with Rantzien, there is plenty (most recent one being strawberries). Only if you have been completely inactive over the past 6 months would you have not noticed Rantziens day to day eventful posts and views throughout general chat. Besides all that strawberry whacking in the picture thread, he's just a genuine nice guy.

Rye

Rye is our ever present pint-sized member who EoFF would be lost without. It also speaks a message that she is the only female nominee for best member.
