nikotine's challenge thread has me wondering what classes the FFVIII characters specifically represent!


These are my guesses:

Squall is a Warrior or Dark Knight
Quistis is a Blue Mage (kawaii)
Zell is a Monk
Selphie is a Thief/Gambler
Rinoa is a White Mage/Sorceress
Irvine is a Gunner
Laguna is a Gunner
Kiros is a/an Ninja/Assassin
Ward is a Dragoon (is he kawaii, though?)
Edea is a Black Mage/Sorceress

I'd say Rinoa was more of a Black mage but Im just saying that because Angel Wing doesnt use white magic.

I feel like Rinoa shows a lot of traits of the Trainer job class from Final Fantasy X-2. She uses Angelo to attack and provide a wide range of options in battle with relative ease.

That's true. I thought of that particular job when I made my list, but I couldn't remember its name.

I chose White Mage for Rinoa, because, usually, girls aren't good at being anything else.

I tend to think of Rinoa as a Beastmaster/Red Mage/Sorceress

Fujin is a ninja/Assassin
Adel is a transvestive black Mage/Sorceress
Ultimecia is a Black Mage /Sorceress
Griever is a Summon

It went something like depending on the characters class they could only junction to certain stats.

Relm (Beastmaster) (VI)


Relm has a unique job class in the Final Fantasy series: Pictomancer. It has never been used by anyone else besides her in the entire series.
