Alright, I'm trying to finish up a file I have on FFVII I started a few months back. It suddenly dawned on me that I never got a few items and the one that is bothering me the most is the Parasol. I know in the end its a crappy weapon cause it has no materia slots and it just has alot of attack power for a character who is better served using magic; but dammit the completionist in me wants the damn thing and I want it before Aerith leaves for good.

So I need a bit of advice on getting over 5000 points on the god awful Speed roller coaster ride. My highest score is 4370 but it was mostly from dumb luck. My average seems to be 3500. Any tips on netting high scores or placement of the beam?

BTW: I already know about the UFO and about tapping the beam button quickly so you do maximum damage. I just need to know a few good spots on the track to net big points. Thank you.

the cactus pieces during the volcano part and lights at the end serve good as well as a turbo controller

Acording to most guides I've read, Parasol is The weapon for Aeris, like how Cloud has Ultima Weapon and so one. I've used it (but only thanks to X-Plode) and Agree with it, as it hits harder than any other weapon - I didn't think of the Attack/Magic though.

Princess Guard is aeris ultimate weapon and can only be found in the Temple of ancients.

I think Parasol is aeriths, pretty sure, and Partisan is cids, also sure.

Really? I have used that weapon and I never really did much dammage with it, am I doing something wrong?

Also I'm suprised an "ultimate" weapon requires such little work to get, but if I'm wrong it's ok, I'm just suprised.

It's easy to get cause u don't use it long. Ultimate weps are recognizable by 8 materia slots, and no growth rate.

I see, I didn't know that, I just a) assumed it was how much dammage they do and b) went by what the guides said (all the online guides said "Princesses Guard" though.)

Thank you.

Princess Guard is Aeriths Ultimate weapon but Parasol does have higher attack power.

The Princess Guard has no special ability like the Ultima weapon or Conformer but it is the only Ultimate weapon that gives Materia growth.

Also, thanks for the advice guys. :)

Actually, the Princess Guard does have a special ability. It powers up when the other party members are dead.

I just noticed that last night when I got it... My bad. Gave up on the Parasol cause the Speed racer is smurfing annoying this early in the game.

The only thing that gets less annoying about it is the GP accumulation. I basically spam Chocobo races until I finally win a prize worth something, then convert to GP, Save, and go hit the Speed Square.

I was hoping to acquire it while it would still be useful but alas, I am now in Disc 2 killing time trying to capture a male chocobo...
