I've played with every character in the Japanese version. Tidus kicks ass (he is very very fast and quite strong), Cloud as well, and for my surprise Cecil is a terminator too.
The bottom three are Squall - how could they make so slow and weak??? :angry: -, Sephiroth (he was a disappointment too) and Onion Knight (I hadn't liked him before Dissidia, and it didn't change my opinion).

My personal favorite move Golbez has, is creating the orb of darkness and then teleporting directly in front of an enemy, grabbing them, and proceeding to toss them into said orb of darkness. :cool:

Onion Knight is from Final fantasy III. His antagonist is Cloud of Darkness :p

1) Terra. No green hair makes me very angry, but if I have to choose one character to use more than any other they might as well be sexy.

2) Zidane. One of the few male main characters I actually like.

3) Cloud. Though if they make him miserable like he was in Advent Children I'll go for Kefka. Seriously Cloud, you just saved the world and you are now living together and going out with Tifa who you've been obsessed with all your life. Cheer up mate!

Kefka and Garland would be on my favourite list too. Kefka because he's hilarious and Garland so I can shout "I Garland, just knocked you down!" whenever I win.

Definitely Sephiroth, Terra and Cecil. They are so cool. I have some videos on youtube with them , but I really want to do some Ad hoc matches with somebody soon. I'm playing non-stop with Sephiroth, so I want to test my strength.

But Bartz, Firion and Kuja are great as well. And I was really impressed how fast characters like the Onion Knight, Zidane or Jecht are.

But the fastest is X-Death, of course. Lol.

In addition to the various characters I love who are showing up in this game, I'm actually really looking foward to playing Emperor Mateus. From what I've seen of gameplay videos, the game has a really excellent balance of ranged and melee characters, which is unusual for most of the fighting games I've seen, and I'm looking forward to seeing how everything will work out. And Emperor's focus on traps and heavy hitting spells should be a fun way to try it.

Where is offered proof of datingship with the Tifa-ness? AFYI, Cloud was obsessed over Tifa because he was never able to save her and she's his closest childhood friend. Doesn't mean they have to date. It'd be cool because they're both hot, but hey, we haven't seen Johnny in CGI glory, maybe he'd fit too. Who says the perfect couple has to be two heroes?

I don't even know if this game's gonna be as good as it looks or as people have made it seem, but I already can't wait for Squee to make a seq feat. other FF characters like Shadow, Zell, and Paine. Maybe they can actually give Paine a personality.+
