Nothing so far. I was just giving my two cents about how EOFF is wasting away, from what I've seen over the past year. It looks like others agree with me, but I can't really exert myself to think of beneficial changes and stuff we could do to make it better. I sort of gave up a while ago when I saw threads like "Kingdow hearts: envasion" in the role playing section. Pretty sad to tell the truth...:(

Yeah, I have seasons 1-3 on DVD but in season 4 only like half the episodes are watchable. In seasons 5-6 the only interesting new character was Quina, but he/she didn't get enough air time. Then when the show switched networks twice you knew the end was coming soon. I just hope they give it a good series finale by bringing back some of the original cast instead of cancelling without notice.

I disagree that the games are going downhill, X was great along with XII although in a different way. You can spend over 200 hours trying to do every extra task and getting every single ultimate weapon and esper. I primarily think it;'s because a lot of the older members are probably more tied up with work and/or school and then most of the new members that you would have to rely on will be teenagers and with the current generation of teens, they've mostly been exposed to the PS2 and next gen era which only leaves them with Final Fantasy's X, X-2, XI, and XII. I didn't include spin offs because the biggest hits are the ones that will hook most of the demographic and Crystal Chronicles, Dirge of Cerberus, and the Chocobo games aren't even that popular even in the FF fanbase. A little bit is square's fault as it always takes them forever to release their next entry in the series.

I do think it's part of the problem. I really don't remember the last time I went into an actual FF subforum. I don't scroll down on the main forum page, there's nothing there to see. Even FFX has been out for about seven years now, how much more talking about it can we do? People aren't searching for an FF forum to join, so we're not even replacing those inevitably lost to attrition. Also, the big name releases have been rare recently, far slower than, say, the PS1 era (We had what, four new FFs between 1996 and 2001?).

Technically you don't need access to forum stuff to bring about changes in the database as long as you know how to run mysql queries, which, as long as you have access to edit the config.php file, you can easily figure out how to do. :monster: That said colour me completely confused. :monster:

Considering how long EoFF has been around, I've not been the most active of people. Was banned for like 4 years aye, that was a thing, but, I've been back for 7 and barely posted since. I keep telling myself I should fix that but I never get round to it, I kinda feel bad about it because I really do like this place. If I put some effort into it I could easily be a lot more active, so I say but honestly I just get distracted easily, I end up browsing Facebook or something. 13-14 years ago or so when I was most active this was one of the only sites I really visited at all and would spend all day after school on here. TWAS A SIMPLER TIME.

I'm thinking this is a thing that happens every 4 or 5 years now. When I was around actively - perhaps about 2005 to 2007? - I started thinking the same thing. Stop coming on as much, I was into Mabinogi at the time... Now I found this place, surprised at the fact that it's still around because it's been 13 years since my initial join date. I still remember the brown background and the header of mostly FF7 characters. One of my friends would constantly get banned and other friends of mine would just be silly in the usernotes... *sighs* Good times. :love:

I'm using it currently, even with a widescreen monitor. The color scheme is easier on the eyes than a lot of the other ones. And I almost never browse anything full screen anyway, so it's not that bad.
