Do you think they're gonna go under?

YAY Now I have an excuse to stop going to LJ!

I mean, if I ever need one. :shifty:

I'll be quite annoyed if they do.

As for if there's any risk of them going under, I don't know.

you can archive your journal if you want
ljArchive (http://fawx.com/software/ljarchive/)

I won't lie, I think I might die if LJ went under ever. I just couldn't cope. xD

In any case, I really REALLY doubt it. LJ makes so much money, because it's genuinely great.

I hope not. I'd hate to have to bitch about my life on msn or in EoEo. At least on LJ nobody has to read or care about it

Once I had a livejournal and then I realized how stupid it was. Then I went back to my livejournal later and lol'd hard at what I used to write and then promptly deleted it all. Then I made like three new entries over a week, and then I stopped using it again.

So, I don't care ;o All livejournal ever does really is make a bunch of highschool kids bitch at eachother over the internet because they don't have the balls to say anything to eachother in (*gasp*) RL.

Yeah, it's my only way to communicate with a lot of people.

Pfft, I don't care. If it goes down, I'll just make another blog elsewhere.

Oh wow. I know that's how I keep up with a good chunk of my last fandom. It'd suck majorly since we'd all scatter to different blog options.

I didn't think the recession thingy was affecting the internets much. It's mostly high-street stores and people with tons of debts. So perhaps there's some other story to it other than the economy...

Well, I suppose all the emos will just find another one

Go to the General Gaming forum and check out the thread about EGM closing. Then read the part where they're closing down their web side.

Even internet businesses have a basis in the real world. Livejournal has offices in the US and Moscow.

EGM closing is terrible news. I still haven't unlocked Sheng Long!

(I still haven't unlocked dragon? what?)

I'd be kind of disappointed. I don't really use my lj too often, but I wouldn't be in much contact with my internet only friends if it went down. However, there would be ways around that.
