I'm glad this is the first single she released from the upcoming album ... it gives me hope that this album will be a little smarter both musically and lyrically. I loved Exodus and everything, but man, Easy Breezy <_< >_> Although, this song doesn't have anything on any of the singles released from Heart Station.

I agree about the mainstream US play, though. I really hope that happens. I also really hope that the release of this album means another North American tour, since I missed the first one (*crosses fingers for Utada United '09*)

Ooooh! Utada! I love her music. I bought a few of her Japanese albums a while back. :D

I thought her Boulevard of Broken Dreams was better than the original. She put a lot more feeling into it.

Although, I'm probably a fan of this cover because I'm a fan of the original, whereas with Broken Dreams ... not so much.

edit: Overall, though, I think other Japense artists (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAu7I6BKU50&feature=related) are better at pulling off covers than Utada.
