when i think back to my childhood, i can remember endless hours wasted spent on the computer/internet, but these days it seems i've run out of activities to pursue whilst surfing the intawebz

my question to you is; how do you fill the many, many hours you spend on the computer/internet (and don't try to deny that you spend most of your life on the computer, we'll all know you're lying :D:tongue:)?

p.s. whatever happened to roto? i see that it says 'banned' on his profile  what was he banned for? are we allowed to discuss these matters? :shifty:

I spend most of my life on the computer. I'm not lying.

Roto got banned for his outspoken attacks against stupidity. In other words, he was banned for trolling.

i spend most of my life on the computer too, it's sad, really :p but most of the time i'm either watching stuff i've downloaded or talking (either on here or msn), so i have no idea what i do to fill out my day...

and that's a bit of a shame, roto was a long running member, wasn't he?

I spend a great deal of time on here and MSN, and ranting on LJ about the horrors of RL xD I actually spend a lot of time outdoors too, so I can't say that I spend most of my life on the internet (though give me a few more years and it might even out).

Sometimes I write things too. You know, like stories. Yeah, I do that sometimes.

#eoff, Facebook, EoFF, YouTube, reading webcomics, LJ, 4chan, StumbleUpon. There's usually enough variety there to keep me entertained.

I usually spend more time than I prefer on the internet. Some of it has to do with addiction and some is due to the speed of my computer. Online I'm mostly either on forums or doing research about video games, foreign affairs, or anything else to stimulate my mind.

I am never on the computer any more, so you can't include me in that generalization!

EoFF, hunting for torrents, chasing people down, throwing ceramic pots, Diablo II, hitting on the Ravens fan even though she has a boyfriend.

The usual.

The internet is for porn.

More seriously though, I mostly spend an unhealthy chunk of time managing and adding to my music collection in various legal and not so-legal-ways; it's several hundred gigabytes large now. I also post on several fora, though I would consider that secondary to the music collection at this point. Reading is nice too.

I'm spending less and less time on the internet. It probably won't be long before I disappear altogether.

Recently, I've been torrenting documentaries and mockumentaries and watching them while I'm stuck in between periods of sleep. In fact, I just got finished watching Wordplay.
