It's another show I can't quit. :( I'M A TELEVISION WHORE!

This season is pretty gay. And by pretty gay, I mean really gay. :p

There's eight cast members! EIGHT! It seems to be a really big deal, because they won't stop repeating it. :p

The house is pretty hot. :lovers: Just some thoughts:

Scott is very attractive. That's all I really know about him. I'm not usually paying attention when he's talking.

Ryan seems to be a good singer. Except for that Tampon song. :/ He seems to be emotionally okay with his experiences with the military, but he also doesn't talk a lot, so I think he's not being completely honest when he says that.

Katelynn is really interesting. I don't know how people don't know she's a transwoman when they look at her. Maybe that's just my intuition screaming though. Watching her and JD go to dinner was touching.

Chet. My god that's a mess. Chet is so "not gay." :rolleyes2 Yeah, okay. He's trying to be the "fun Mormon," but he just seems like an asshole. He's really insensitive to Katelynn, along with Ryan. I think he may be the ugliest cast member.

JD is cute too. And he seems really smart. Also really nurturing to the other housemates; just like how he and Katelynn immediately bonded. The baskstory with him and his family is sad. :( He seems like a really strong individual.

Sarah is a pretty cool chick. :p I don't understand her ex-bi or ex-lesbian deal or w/e. Totally confused.

Devyn is really cool, too. :p She's got tits and a brain to match. :D Her deal with Scott makes me shake my head though. Poor girl.

Baya seems to be the most boring. She likes to dance. That's all I know. :/ Watching her turn down the invite to the hip-hop dance classes was interesting, though.

Anyone else watching? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME I'M THE ONLY ONE. :'(

You are the only one.

Is this one of those reality TV shows like the O.C. but real and therefore disgusting? I watched "The City" once, it was like, a spin off of "The Hills." It made me feel sick and then I showered 8 times after it was over.

This is the true story of seven strangers picked to live in a house, work together and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real.

It's kinda like The Surreal Life, minus the has-been celebrities. :D

The Real World is like one of the first reality shows. It started on MTV in the early '90s, so it actually precedes the big fad of these things.

But it's still pretty stupid and dramatic - actually even moreso than more mainstream reality shows.

Yeah, when The Real World first came out it was actually quite good, I thought. There were actually interesting people in the house who had interesting, thought-provoking discussions with each other as a result of their differences. But ever since like....the Miami season (and especially the Las Vegas one) all they do is have sex. :-/ Boooooring.

Still, if I ever see an episode on, I'll try to watch at least one, just to check it out.
