Square really should have hired outside consultants when it came to Zidane's tail. There are so many things one can do with a tail, and they didn't even touch on any of them. From the innocent scratching of one's back to more adult oriented tentacle fun, Zidane had so much potential that they fell short on.

But he could have done so much more. Hold a shield or a weapon in battle, for example. He's a thief for crying out loud, he never used his tail to swipe something while he distracted the owner. Monkey boy never realized his full potential.

I never thought about it, but I agree! He could have used it to pull some wacky antics on Steiner, for example.

I guess they could have drawn more attention to it...though in a world filled with all kinds of bizzaro races and people, it might've seemed a little gimmicky.

It would've made life easier in Burmecia. He could hold an umbrella with his tail whilst retaining the use of his hands.

Yes, my first thought upon completing FFIX was "hmm, needs more tail sodomy..."

Been years since I played FFIX, but didn't Zidane once use his tail to hang from somewhere? I think when Steiner was trying to grab him once time early on in the game, and Zidane kept moving away from ol' Steiner.

I laughed when he used it on the cargo ship, they should of used it more for some comedy moments:p
