So?!

In graphs, definitely cartesian. In code, I use both!

I mean, uh, math is stupid and stuff.

I chose the C one because it has Cart in it.

polar coordinates have a certain charm to them. . . but I'm not as familiar with them!

I want to see who votes for what so I can judge them accordingly.

You can do cooler things with Polar graphs, but everyone uses the Cartesian system because it applies to a lot of stuff. Polar, you're screwing with time, imaginary trig functions, etc.

Can I vote for Johnny Bravo doesn't really like Farrah Fawcet but he likes me?

Whichever one sounds like it will give me a lot of homework is obviously the worst option.

Cartesian, because it can show lines and parabolae, and I hate polar coordinate graphs. :mad2:

I prefer Cartesian.

Polar is where it's at.

(especially if you ever do any electrical engineering which i do all the time)

How does a sine greet you?

It waves.

Both have their uses. I refuse to choose.

Polar, since it confuses more people :D

Not trying to derail the thread or anything as I have no idea what you're talking about, but Coke is way better than Pepsi.

Cartesian all the way. Although I can see the use of Polar when dealing with Vectors.

I voted cartesian, but polar graphs can graph flowers and squigglies ^____^
