My hair is really thick, so it takes some TLC to manage. Right now, it has both hair gel and hair wax just to hold it in place. Luckily, it's not going anywhere. :riiight:

What do you typically put in your hair? Mousse, hairspray, gel, etc? :p

I like to go sans hair product when I can, but if I have to a little bit of gel combed through makes my hair easy enough to style.

Nothing at all. My hair is long and thick and falls like a curtain down my back.

I never do any of that to my hair. I couldn't fix my hair even if I tried. I suck at all that crap. I comb it and call it a life.

My hair is the longest it's ever been, and I can't wait for it to be really long, so I can make really long pigtails and fly.

Don't be afraid of product. The right products are your friend. If you overuse, your hair is greasy and sticky, but if you use just the right amount, it enhances the beauty and natural texture hair has.

First off, I like to use Chi 44 Iron Guard before I blow dry, straighten, or curl my hair so that it protects my hair from heat damage.

I like to use Herbal Essence Leave-In Frizz Creme to give my hair a bit of volume, shine and to get rid of the fly aways. It smells like if every nice smell in the world had a baby. It's amazing.

I like to use wax or pomade for a bit of styling, texturing and a bit of volume. I don't remember what brand I use. It comes in a medium sized jar and is kind of expensive, but one can could probably last years, because you only dip your three finger tips into the can, rub through your hands, until it's sticky and pliable for your hair.

I like Garnier Fructisse Shine to give my hair extra shine. This is the one product I have to be a little careful with, because if I use too much, it gets my hair a little greasy. But a drop of it, rubbed through my hands and through my hair, does the job perfectly.

When I curl my hair, I use Tresemme curl-lift spray.

I can't really think of anything else besides the above and the standard stuff like hairspray.

Point the first: I hate, absolutely hate the use of the generic term "product" in reference to hair care and hair styling junk.

Point the second: The only things I use in my hair are hot water, shampoo, and my hands.

Water.

My hairs extremely thick, but I halfass comb it, and get on with my life

Dye.

If I want to style it, mousse or a heat protecting cream that's by l'oreal. I got it from sally's. I get everything from sally's beauty supply though, so.

Usually just shampoo conditioner and then air dry and brush will take care of my hair for me.

Nothing aside from the usual shampoo treatment. Adding stuff makes it more stiff and less silky and wonderful than it is without.

Joico ice. it doesn't work on all hair types (my kid brother cannot get his hair spikey with it), but it should do what it needs to for yours, yars.

Shampoo/Conditioner. Whenever I straighten my hair, I have this gel that's supposed to be handy, so I use it. Other than that, nothing.

Why did the "My New Haircut" guido song JUST pop up in my head as I read this? xD Are you from Long Island, Del?

A multitude of girly products, which, in my opinion, aren't that girly. =p

Hair straighteners, just because they allow you to get your hair anyway you want them, ready for styling. I follow the straightening ceremony with Lee Stafford pump gel, for choppy, layered hair. I can get my hair frizzy and spikey that way. Occasionally on rainy days, when it’s pointless to try and style hair efficiently, I have to wear a hat, which messes me up slightly.
Obviously, I use shampoo and conditioner. Shamefully, I use mousse before I blow-dry my hair ready for the next morning.

And yes, I am a dude.

I don't use styling products that much- I straighten my hair and go! :D

I do dye my hair every three or four weeks, because it fades really fast X_X

I shampoo my hair twice, leave the conditioner on for way longer than 2 minutes and use LOreal Hot Straight serum. My hair's really thick and is getting dead long now so I have to make sure it's cleaaaan.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses a lot of product (heee hee hee, Rob!) I was starting to feel a bit of a tool! Or a wannabe cosmetologist (which I kinda am!)

I also dye my hair quite a lot.

I have two types of hair straighteners, a anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner, therapeytic shampoo, straightening shampoo and conditioner, silkener, a bruch and pick, mousse, hair gel, and my two hair straighteners, one for pesudo-brushing to get it started and another to get it done.

I <3 Ion products.

Lets see, I use shampoo and then the deep conditioner for colored hair. Leave in conditioner, and then hairspray. But I blow dry and straighten it so I need it so it doesn't dry out :O

I use this (http://www.overstockdrugstore.com/products/Garnier-Fructis-Style-Fiber-Gum-Putty,-Extra-Strong-5-oz.html?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=PE&utm_campaign=GoogleBase&gdftrk=gdfV2385_a_7c454_a_7c1630_a_7c603084260232#) stuff to style my hair. Other than that shampoo and conditioner is all.

I use conditioner after lathering rinsing and repeating. After I shower, I usually use pomade, but sometimes I use mousse or Brylcream. It depends on how long my hair is and if I am feeling STYLISH or SLICK that day. :greenie:

edit: Sometimes dye, too.

No gel ever. Ew. It makes hair hard, but you like it hard. :mog:

I usually use shampoo, deep conditioner, hairspray and sometimes this hair gloss stuff that makes it shiny.
