Psychotic wins!

We're redoing the previous attempt to inspire members to get members to add things to the Eyes on Final Fantasy Wiki; this time, with qwerty flair! That's right, qwerty will be joining me in judging this event. Now, the goal of the event is to add submissions to the Eyes on Final Fantasy Wiki, the winner gets a completely remodeled wiki page (done by the Events Committee), and their name at the front of the Wiki for two weeks as the Wiki Week Winner!

Now, you will earn points by, if you didn't guess, making additions to the wiki. You will record what changes you have made here (http://www.eyesonff.com/members/wiki/memberlist/wikicompetition) (once you join you'll see a place for you to place your additions under, please, do NOT tamper with other people's submissions we WILL be checking), however posting in the thread will let us see chronologically what's going on and bring things to our attention faster. Hell, use the thread as a party, go wild and have fun. Each submission will earn from .5-6 points, via a point system which me and qwerty have made. We will be the judges, don't worry, we'll be fair. =P

Here's a few rules:

1) All changes you claim must be made by you. We will check the page history, and if you claim to do stuff that you didn't actually do, well there is such a thing as disqualification.

2) All links must be in the proper form. If links are wrong, then no points will be given. Momiji spent a lot of time to make most of the links good, so respect his effort!

3) This competition is a friendly competition. So don't undo what other people change unless you can improve it. Even so, we would prefer if you hold off until we award the previous person points beore editing that page.

4) To link to a page where you made changes, add a brief description of what you did on this page. Makes it easier to give points.

We will have a 2 day sign up period, however you may still join (please?) afterward, just at a disadvantage obviously, as everyone else will have already started earning points! You may post that you wish to here, or PM Goldenboko (me).

Also, it would make me infinitely happy if people fix the links in member pages so they are no longer red and link to where they are supposed to-- just in case you run out of content ideas, there's plenty of fixing to do! :D

However, I took care of all the other sections way back when-- then I decided I cba to go through that entire memberlist one by one. I did enough of that when Tav and I imported all of the names over from the old wiki.

More acceptable, a paragraph of that size is the bare minimum for editing existing pages if you expect points.

EDIT: The point of a wiki is that anyone can add whatever they want to say, if Laddy is going to be a hippie and only add in nice comments so be it, Psy wants to completely retool groups and sections that he enjoyed being part of so be it, what's gotten into you today? =p

Maybe I'm becoming grumpy, or maybe I haven't had my juice. I just think somebody navigating the wiki isn't going to be interested in chunks of text praising somebody who they have no idea about. If I wanted to learn who a certain member was, then I wouldn't be in any luck.

Alright, the competition is over now, because it has been far more then a week... :p

Psychotic wins! Narrowly edging out Laddy. This means Psychotic gets his name in big shiny letters on the front page, and can have us (the event committee), completely remodel his userpage. However, I noticed Psychotic does have a pretty nice userpage already, so I am going to give him the choice of passing on that prize if he wishes to keep his old one.
