How would you react if someone interpreted the final book of the Bible into a musical? It's already been interpreted into about fifty movies like the Stand and Left Behind, but what about a musical?
I'm not inviting any Bible-bashers into this thread to make fun of the concept. What would you expect to hear about it? See in previews; if it were a movie, what would you expect to see?
Personally, I see it as something like Sweeney Todd... a pretty dark and gritty movie with characters you can understand and lyrics you can't help but sing along too. Only it'll have a happier ending, of course.
I can't imagine anyone passing up the opportunity to install a few lines of "To Hell With The Devil" by Stryper either.
