For me it'd definitely be Verdana, since Times New Roman looks too ancient and it's been overdone while Arial is also overdone, though it's okay looking.

How about the rest of you?

I'm a big fan of Geo Sans Light (http://www.dafont.com/geo-sans-light.font) and Violation (http://www.dafont.com/violation.font) right now.

I remember when I used to love Comic Sans. The good ol' days when I also loved shopping at Sanrio and N*SYNC was all the rage.

>>> Depends, to make posts i just use the default font thats available..
for graphic design stuff i get more picky, whatever it looks good with the image is good for me.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about Comic Sans. I remember always using that font a long time ago.

I eventually stopped when I realized that Comic Sans was a little too big for a size 12 font, compared to Times New Roman. It's the same case with Verdana, though I find it's big enough to read from a distance and small enough to not take up too much page space.

BOLD SEAGREEN

Also, I prefer sans serif fonts to whatever you'd call their counterparts. Avec serif? Or just serif? :p

I use default, 'cause that's how I roll. For the most case that font happens to be Calibri. Occasionally I'll use something different, just to shake things up a bit.

Verdana is sooooooooooo 2003 ;)

I am like Zapfino, Calibri, BigCaslon, and Adoreable. And corbel. Corbel = irc font, calibri = sans-serif, big caslon = serif, adoreable = cutesy, zapfino = script.

I honestly really like an italicized Book Antiqua. It looks rather classy and professional.

But for fun, I like using Ringbearer Ringbearer Font | dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com/ringbearer.font)

Anything that doesn't cost stupid money and doesn't have silly rules to use it when it's being given as a royalty free font.

Wingdings!
I usually end up using Verdana, sans-serif, because it's the default and Changing the color and bolding it is enough for me :p

On MSN I use Franklin Gothic Medium 10pt and on IRC I use Arial 9pt. Psychotic just loves it when I use this (http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a318/Sagensyg/Photoshop/Avatars/Sagensyg.png) one in a picture. It's called "Pixelation."

Recently I made a Signature with a font called "Bleeding Cowboys." It's so awesome, but mostly I like plain fonts.

Gauntlet classic/ tw cent/ garamond/ franklin gothic it depends I use a lot of these on my essays :) teachers tell us to hardly use Times New Roman because is essential not only to have a good essay but also a good presentation!

Bleeding Cowboys is far too over used now. Everyone seems to slap it on anything, including me.

I hate Bleeding Cowboy it0s terrible, we have an university event here in Portugal called "Queima" and there is a contest for the advertiser posters and the people who win always wear overused fonts! And they gain money for that It«s terrible some you can that are not designers because it sucks so bad! Normally for design is better if you pick up a not worked font and change it :) But for essays I can't use worked fonts! :) So I try to use some cool images and colors to match everything

I usually use the default font available for a forum.

Though I think my favorite font would have to be Comic Sans MS.

I like to use Lucida Console because it's sans-serif and most importantly, monospaced.

Calibri for stuff that doesn't require computer code.

for monospaced, I'm a courier new kind of girl

When I'm writing essays, I always use italicised Book Antiqua for the title of the essay on the front page.

Essay-wise I just use Times New Roman as standard, though when I'm writing something for myself, I generally prefer Arial Narrow or Trebuchet MS.

Verdana! But small text! If you don't like it... I don't care! Get some glasses you idiot! Or just zoom in if you're that desperate! Anyone who doesn't use Verdana is a noob.
