And I don't mean the process of carrying milk to the cashier to exchange money for the milk.

We buy ours in jugs. We used to buy bagged milk, but they haven't sold it that way in like ten or fifteen years. :/

Plastic milk carton. That might be a jug. I don't know what a jug is. I'm guessing by carton you mean one of the cardboardy type things, but I've always called the plastic ones cartons of milk. Oh you crazy Yanks.

The milk in jugs is gross, I think. I like the chocolate milk, though.

I really like Horizon Organic whole milk. It's in a carton.

No, I would not.

It's not spite. I find it amusing. Wolf is just creepily smart like one of those mad scientist hiding in the basement trying to make kawaii anime creatures come to life in his secret laboratory. Lol. You should feel flattered that I noticed you weren't like that.... yet :shifty:

Sounds like this Wolf person is pretty damn pathetic.

I happen to have more than one hobby, thanks, and I don't take any of them to such ridiculous extremes.

Cartons. But our store started carrying milk in those old school glass bottles. SO CUTE! Too bad they're so much more expensive than carton milk.

Cartons. It's recyclable and I can't finish a jug of milk in time.

What do you mean plastic is recyclable? Eff that I'm not drinking my milk out of a bag what is this the dark ages?

Momiji
03-20-2009, 05:44 PM
Always plastic jugs. A carton isn't enough for my family.

Can you guys tell the difference between the different types of milk? I'm used to drinking skim, so when I have 2% or something, it tastes weird.

Aerith's Knight
03-20-2009, 05:48 PM
Full tastes.. too rich.

Half n half is what I usually drink, which tastes fine.

2% and skim milk is just glorified water. Might as well not drink milk. Like sugarfree soda, what's the point of drinking the soda if it tastes awful, the acid? :p

You may as well drink straight fat. People drink 2% or skim because it's actually good for you.

I buy 1/2 gallon jugs of 2%.

Milk is never good for you. Water is good for you. That's why I drink about 3 liters of water a day, not milk.

Besides, vitamins can be expensive, and milk isn't very expensive at all.

Oh my god. Are you even supposed to drink half 'n half?! I only use half 'n half when I'm cooking really hearty dishes like mashed potatoes or clam chowder. Isn't half 'n half an ingredient, NOT a drink??

Which is why I find it's funny that he said that milk is too rich. 8 oz of whole milk has about 150 calories, but half-and-half is 320.

I'm guessing AK meant semi-skimmed milk. Food and drink can be a challenge to keep track of between languages.

Aerith's Knight
03-20-2009, 10:12 PM
Cream?

...

Okay, little language gap here. xD

In the netherlands you have the creams and milks, those are seperate things.

I mean, in the milk section, what comes in cartons of a liter or two, you have full milk, 50% full milk and diet milk(or whatever you want to call it)

I always drink 50% milk, because full tastes weird and diet milk tastes like water.

demondude
03-20-2009, 10:16 PM
