New to the forums, Names Tony. I am an avid FF player.

Playing III (needing Friend codes)
Half way through IV (DS version)
Beat VII multiple times
Beat VIII once (least fav)
Beat IX multiple (fav)
Beat X twice (got frustrated with getting Lulu's leg wep)
Beat X-2 once (the girls just didn't do it for me, even the spa)
Beat XII multiple (had to get both zodiacs)

Im a PC gamer (FPS, RTS, and RPG) but the pay-to-play is something I find ridiculous...so haven't and won't play XI.

But anyway, I have posted a reply to the Friend Codes sticky in the FF3 forum if anyone wouldn't mind helping me.

Thanks.

New names stick out like a sore thumb for me.

It's on a couple now. Just Downlo....

I mean buy it for SNES. It's going to be FFIII for that system. But that is how one should play it 1st.

Definitely didn't notice the "site staff" title the first time around...it all makes sense now. ;)

Epic Fail, heh

Hmmm I might have to hit Amazon for a SNES and the games. Are the GBA games worth getting or just sticking to the original?

I plan on getting the FF1 and 2 for PSP along with some ol skool PS1 games with the first couple of FF I haven't played. But so far its just the PS1 and PS2 and now the DS versions of the games that I have.

If some old school PS1 is the case then get FFVI for the PS1. ;]

You can thank me later. xD

Sorry, just could not get into it...I beat it, but the story line just killed it...and also the popping off a round each time u slice someone...comon, really???

It was the one game I did'nt go back and play a second time to get 100% everything...

oh don't listen to these old lunatics. It doesn't matter what system you play FFVI on, they're all basically the same. :p Playstation, SNES, GBA or even an emulator.

Final Fantasy IX is indeed great. I loved the chocobo stuffs.

welcome forever!

By the way, the boards has a strict, yet unwritten rule that you don't talk about FF. Ever.

Well in that case, if theres no FF talk on the FF named forum...

Anyone know of a freeware that will transfer music from an iTouch to a PC or Linux box?

Running Vista Home Premium 64 and Debian 5.0.0...

I have iDump for my iPod but the GF insisted on getting an iTouch, murphy's law kicked in and BAM her HDD crashed and lost everything...music photos etc...

welcome an' :bou::bou::bou::bou: :monster:

also, if the iTouch has similar firmware to the iPod then the library should be recoverable using third-party plugins for either WinAmp or foobar2000. Google iPod and the music player of choice and you should be okay.

Also also, I concur with the sentiment that FFVI is the best, but FFIX is tied with FFV (which you should also play at some point) for second. Though I keep hearing that Tactics is better than any of them, but I suck at strategy games and can't get past the second fight :(

You don't have to play it all the way through, just to chapter 2 ;)
