View Full Version : Sunburn
I managed to get a sunburn today despite the overcast weather. :(
How often and easily do you burn?

I never peel, even on the rare occasions that I burn. All I do is tan. I love being me.

I'm almost impervious to sunburns. I have to sit in the sun, unmoving, for hours, without sunblock/tan to get burned.
If I put on sunblock I change colors.

I don't burn much. In XTREME SHUNSHINES for a long time I will have a tiny tiny achy burn across my shoulders and down the bridge of my nose. I tan before I burn.
edit: Like Quinster, I don't peel.

I sunburn if I don't put on any sun protection, but it turns into a tan then. There's parts of my body though, that just don't either suburn or tan at all.

I burn way easily. I put on sunscreen, hang at the beach for a few hours, and come back totally red. :/

I shed about 10 layers of skin during the summer.

Hmm, well, I used to just plain tan but now it's burn and tan while I'm peeling.
Is it weird if I actually have FUN peeling the skin off?

I burn easily. These past two weeks I've spent time outside on the sun and my face has turned super red. Thing is when I took pictures with my friends I still looked pale compared to them. :eep:

I'm normally inundated with sunscreen during summer, so I don't get burned. Without the sunscreen, though, I can burn in about ten minutes thanks to the UV levels in this part of the world.

I'm all pale and white and stuff, so I burn within minutes of being out in direct sunlight. Because of this, I often stay inside-- and when I do go out, I can often be seen wearing long sleeves and jeans (among other reasons, I wear jeans year-round). I don't like sunscreen much. It makes my skin either feel really stiff or really greasy and it's disgusting. I only put that stuff on if I'm working outside.

I burn extremely easily and quickly. Going abroad is not a pleasurable experience for me in the slightest.

I never burn.
Me either but I never go outside for more than the time it takes for me to get from my apartment to my car.
I seem to burn easier if I wear sunscreen. I don't like getting burnt, because it makes me lose any sort of tan I have D:

I burn really easily but I haven't burnt in years because I go crazy with factor 50 :D :D :D
I get really freckly when the sun's out and I don't like it so I always have a bottle of factor 50 with me...just in case.

I burn lots in the sun. It's my German and Scottish heritage. I've been known to burn even with factor 50 sunscreen. I do freckle up a little bit, but it doesn't help any. :rolleyes2

Try total block then :D :D :D
That's what I used last year, it does make you look quite greasy though and it made my face feel really...heavy?
I didn't freckle at all last year, but I'm trying out factor 50 this year as it's a bit lighter :D :D :D
