I have just now discovered that Goku is a high school student. I'm scared D:

I was excited about this movie at first because I thought it would be awesome or so horrible that it's awesome, but now it's looking like it's gonna be "it's actually kinda good if you're not too attached to the original series."

My friend watched it online. Said it was perhaps one of the most godawful things he'd ever seen, and not in a way that you can even appreciate as funny. This is a major killjoy for me as I, too, was hoping it would fall into that gray area of "fantastically awful" movies.

Watched a bit of it on YouTube. It plays out more like the first Spider-Man movie than anything related to the Dragon Ball series.

The game is a fighter that pastes the live actors doing their signature moves a la Mortal Kombat... Its similar to the equally god awful SFII the Movie game.

Being a huge fan of the series, I can honestly say that it is going to be terrible, I will probably spend a few days in withdrawal all the while wondering why I went to see it.



But im going to torture myself and see it anyway.

ok from what Ive seen in commercials it looks like they made the Kamehameha look more like fire....I thought it was supposed to be like a laser type deal

After seeing a fair bit of this online, I must say I am sufficiently deflated from paying any sum of money to watch this. I was looking forward to seeing it just for the laughs, but I came away offended more than anything else.

Putting aside the fact that K in JKTrix stands for 'Kakarott', I don't even think this would be an 'okay' movie for non-fans.

I saw a bit online too, Goku in high school? Goku doesn't have any kind of an education. He can rip your spine out with his foot and blow up a planet with his pinky, but he's one of the stupidest people ever.

Goku is a white Saiyan. Bulma has black hair and uses guns. Who uses guns in animated movies? Roshi is some Chinese geezer. AND PICCOLO, is some gray alien without ears!

Lol, but no offense to Dragonball but, when they say evolution, they evolved a bit too much.

But yeah OK this film does look atrocious, by the sound of it it's not even going to manage to fulfil the 'so bad its good' requirement.

It was ok if you had low expectations and tried not to think about the anime series. But it was still annoying how when a fight move is too difficult to choreograph all they did was change camera. And after the initial mediocre non energy blast fight scenes it just became like a really fancy episode of charmed.

I'm not sure I could call anyone that participated in this movie an actor without cracking a smile or laughing hysterically.

I predict this movie will be destroyed by Hannah Montana, Observe and Report, and another good weekend for Fast and the Furious. Then it will stay in oblivion just like the Chun-Li movie. If my prediction is right, this sequel idea will go right down the crapper.

My big brother and his friend, who are both avid fans of DB, are going to see it. They're expecting to be ashamed. They think it's bull:bou::bou::bou::bou: that Akira Toriyama, THE FREAKING CREATOR, had absolutely no say in the movie. At all.

I'll probably just watch it on the internet or something.
